Abstract:Abstract This note concerns the delay-dependent robust stability analysis for uncertain singular time-delay systems. The parameter uncertainty is assumed to be norm-bounded and possibly time-varying, while the time delay considered here is assumed to be constant but unknown. By using a new Lyapunov-krasovskii functional which splits the whole delay interval into two subintervals and defines a different energy function on each subinterval, some delay-dependent conditions are presented for the singular time-delay system to be regular, impulse free and robustly stable. The obtained delay-dependent criteria are effective and less conservative than previous ones, which are illustrated by numerical examples.

Abstract:Some new results of delay-dependent robust stability and stabilization for uncertain linear singular time-delay systems are presented. The parameter uncertainty is assumed to be norm-bounded and possibly time-varying. By using a new Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional which splits the whole delay interval into two subintervals and defines a different energy function on each subinterval, a suitable state feedback control law is obtained, which guarantees the singular time-delay system to be regular, impulse free and robustly stable for all admissible uncertainties. The new delay-dependent criteria are formulated in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). Numerical example is given to show the effectiveness and less conservativeness of the proposed method.

Abstract:In this paper, the new absolute stability and stabilization conditions for a class of Lurie uncertain time-delay systems are proposed. Based on Lyapunov functions combined with linear matrix inequality (LMI) technology, the sufficient delay dependent absolute stability and stabilization conditions are derived for a class of Lurie uncertain time-delay systems with time-delay feedback either in states or nonlinear part through introducing a new state transformation. Finally, the absolute stability and stabilization conditions are illustrated by the detailed examples, and the result shows that there has been a distinct amelioration in conservation.

Abstract:This paper is concerned with the delay-dependent stability and robust stability criteria for linear systems with time-varying delay and norm-bounded uncertainties. Through constructing a general form of Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional, and using integral inequalities, some slack matrices and newly established convex combination condition in the calculation, the delay-dependent stability criteria are derived in terms of linear matrix inequalities. Numerical examples are given to illustrate the improvement on the conservatism of the delay bound over some reported results in the literature.

Abstract:The problem of robust stabilisation for uncertain discrete singular systems with time-varying delay is discussed in this article. First, a new delay-distribution-dependent Lyapunov function is established. Then, sufficient conditions are proposed for guaranteeing that the uncertain discrete singular system with time-varying delay has the properties of regularity, causality and stability. Finally, a suitable robust state feedback controller is designed by linear matrix inequality. Numerical examples illustrate that the results derived from the proposed method are less conservative than the existing ones.

Abstract:In this paper, the stability problem of uncertain systems with arbitrarily time-varying delay is considered. Based on new Lyapunov–Krasovskii functionals and novel methods to deal with uncertainties and cross-terms, stability conditions are proposed for such systems in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs), which are simpler and less conservative than existing results. A numerical example is given to illustrate our theoretical result.

Abstract:This paper studies the problem of stability for continuous-time systems with time-varying delay. By defining novel Lyapunov functionals and using the Jenson integral inequality, new delay-dependent stability conditions are obtained in terms of linear matrix inequalities. Unlike previous methods, the upper bound of the delay derivative is taken into consideration even if this upper bound is greater than or equal to 1. It is proved that the newly proposed criteria may introduce less conservatism than some existing ones. Meanwhile, the computational complexity of the presented stability criteria is reduced greatly since fewer decision variables are involved. A numerical example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed methods.

Abstract:In this note, the delay-dependent robust stability criteria for two classes of singular time-delay systems with norm-bounded uncertainties are investigated. First, without using model transformation and bounding technique for cross terms, an improved delay-dependent stability criterion for the nominal singular time-delay system is established in terms of strict linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). Then, based on this criterion, the delay-dependent robust stability criteria for two classes of uncertain singular time-delay systems are proposed, which ensure that the systems are regular, impulse free and asymptotically stable for all admissible uncertainties. Numerical examples are proposed to illustrate the less conservatism of the obtained results.

Abstract:This paper deals with the robust stability analysis for uncertain systems with time-varying delay. New delay-dependent robust stability criteria of uncertain time-delay systems are proposed by exploiting appropriate Lyapunov functional candidate. These developed results have advantages over some previous ones in that they have fewer matrix variables yet less conservatism, due to the introduction of a method to estimate the upper bound of the derivative of Lyapunov functional candidate without ignoring the additional useful terms. Numerical examples are given to demonstrate the effectiveness and the advantage of the proposed method.

Through constructing an appropriate type of Lyapunov‐Krasovskii functional and proving its positive definiteness, using slack matrices and a convex combination condition, the delay‐dependent stability criteria, which are less conservative, are derived in terms of linear matrix inequalities. Numerical examples are also given to illustrate the improvement on the conservatism of the delay bound over some existing results.

Abstract:In this paper, the delay-dependent stability problem is investigated for a class of singular time-delay (STD) systems with norm bounded parametric uncertainties. Without resorting to any bounding techniques for some cross terms and model transformation, the new less conservative delay-dependent stability criteria assuring the regularity, impulse-free and robust stability of the STD systems are derived by constructing a novel Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional (LKF). The present method incorporates a new integral-equality technique combined with a recently proposed idea of introducing free-weighting matrices. Numerical examples are provided to illustrate the effectiveness and less conservativeness of the developed techniques.

Abstract:This paper is concerned with the stability analysis for uncertain stochastic systems with interval time-varying delay. Abstract:The problems of asymptotic stability for a class of nonlinear singular systems with time-delay are investigated in this paper. A delay-dependent sufficient condition for asymptotic stability is obtained by using Lyapunov stability theorems. Based on the result, the criterion is extended to a class of functions with double variables in the nonlinear uncertainty, which satisfies Lipschitz condition. Abstract:This paper investigates the stability condition in a class of uncertain neutral systems with interval time-varying delays and nonlinear uncertainties.In this paper,the time-varying delays are assumed to belong to an interval :τm≤τ(t)≤τM.The purpose is to derive a new delay-dependent stability condition with much less conservative in the neutral system,irrespective of the uncertainties and the time delays.Based on both the lower and upper bounds of time-varying delay interval,in the choice of the approriate Lyapunov function,used the transform of Leibnitz-Newton formula,a new delay-dependent stability condition of nonlinear neutral systems with time-varying delays is derived which is based on S-prosedure :Σ0.Finally,numerical examples show the effectiveness of our results and much less conservative.
