Abstract:A GT coding system is established based on common components and complex components. The system is both for component process planning and component design. The common components are coded by fixed codes, while the complex ones are coded by both the fixed codes and the flexible codes. Typical component drawing base and typical process base are structured. The variant CAPP system based on group technology is established. The component group-searching program is made with VC++, and typical component groups can be found quickly and precisely by the GT code. The integration of the coding system and the CAPP system is implemented.
