Research on Factors Affecting Green Technology Collaboration of Companies: Viewed from Supply Chain

Abstract:The paper explores the main factors affecting the green technology collaboration between companies on the supply chain and the relationship of the factors using a combination means of grounded theory and confirmatory factor analysis(CFA),based on the data survey of green technology cooperation between upstream and downstream companies on the supply chain from the main domestic manufacturing industry.The result shows that: the green technology behavior of companies,the feature of green technology,the external environment pressure,interdependent relationship between companies on the supply chain have important impacts on the collaboration of green technology between companies on the supply chain,and this result is consistent with most current research.The conclusion part makes up explanation for the result respectively from different angles such as strategic behavior theory,transaction cost theory and resource dependency theory and so on.Different from previous research,the paper found that the related policy from government has a small impact on the collaboration between companies on the supply chain compared with other influencing factors.This fully shows the government's policy has not yet played a substantial role in promoting green technology cooperation between the upstream and downstream companies on the supply chain.It is suggested that the government should accelerate policy support and financial investments to encourage green technology development and collaboration between companies through subsidies,tax and other measures,so that the government can actually play a role in guiding green technology development and cooperation behavior between companies.The study not only provides a strong basis for carrying out green technology cooperation between companies on the supply chain,but also provides a theoretical reference for the management departments to formulate relevant policies.
