Abstract:Constructing Lyapunov functional method,this paper gave a sufficient condition to global attractivity of the zero solution of Neutral linear equation with multiple delay.Meanwhile the examples were given to illustrate the usefulness of the theorem.

Abstract:A class of nonlinear delay difference equations are considered and some sufficient conditions for global attractivity of solutions of the equation are obtained. It is shown that the stability properties, both local and global, of the equilibrium of the delay equation can be derived from those of an associated nondelay equation.

Criteria for global attractivity are also derived by means of Lyapunov functionals. As a corollary, we show that if the delayed system is dissipative and the coefficient matrix is VL-stable, then the global attractivity of the unique equilibrium is maintained provided the delays are small. Estimates on the allowable sizes of delays are also given. Applications to the Hopfield neural networks with discrete delays are included.

Abstract:This paper explores the problem of delay-independent and delay-dependent stability for a class of complex-valued neutral-type neural networks with time delays. Aiming at the neutral type neural networks, an appropriate function is constructed to derive the existence of equilibrium point. On the basis of homeomorphism theory, Lyapunov functional method and linear matrix inequality techniques, several LMI-based sufficient conditions on the existence, uniqueness and global asymptotic stability of equilibrium point for complex-valued neutral-type neural networks are obtained. Finally, numerical examples are given to illustrate the feasibility and the effectiveness of the proposed theoretical results.

Abstract:In this paper, we first discuss the existence of an equilibrium point to a general Cohen–Grossberg neural networks with multiple delays by means of using degree theory and linear matrix inequality (LMI) technique. Then by applying the existence result of an equilibrium point, linear matrix inequality technique and constructing a Lyapunov functional, we study the global exponential stability of equilibrium solution to the Cohen–Grossberg neural networks. Compared with known results, our results of global exponential stability of equilibrium point are new. In our results, the hypothesis for differentiability in existing papers on the behaved functions is removed and the hypotheses for boundedness and monotonicity in existing papers on the activation functions are also removed.

Abstract:In this paper, a class of nonlinear stochastic neutral differential equations with delays is investigated. By using the properties of $${\mathcal{M}}$$ -matrix, a differential-difference inequality is established. Basing on the differential-difference inequality, we develop a $${\mathcal{L}}$$ -operator-difference inequality such that it is effective for stochastic neutral differential equations. By using the $${\mathcal{L}}$$ -operator-difference inequality, we obtain the global attracting and invariant sets of nonlinear stochastic neutral differential equations with delays. In addition, we derive the sufficient condition ensuring the exponential p-stability of the zero solution of nonlinear stochastic neutral differential equations with delays. One example is presented to illustrate the effectiveness of our conclusion.

Abstract:By using the Lyapunov method for linear neutral differential systems with time-varying delays,the problems of determining the global exponential stability and estimating the exponential convergence rate are investigated in this paper.Two useful criteria of global exponential stability for the systems are derived.These stability criteria are formulated as linear matrix inequalities(LMIs) which can be easily validated.Numerical examples are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
