Dynamic Change of Milk yields and Their Nutrient Content in the Lactating Period of Tianfu Goats

Abstract:In this experiment,the milk yields and their nutrient content of 16 Tianfu goats in lactation period(60days postpartum)were detected and analyzed.The results indicated that the milk yields of the multiparous goats were 78.99kg±6.86kg during the lactating period,which was significantly higher than primiparous ones whose milk yield was 40.76kg±3.08kg(P<0.01).The contents of dry matter,protein and ash in the colostrum decreased sharply 48h after parturition.The content of fat increased at first and then decreased.Compared with the ordinary milk,in the colostrum of primiparous and multiparous goats,the contents of dry matter were 91.6%and 119.4% higher,the contents of fat were 79.9%and 61.7%higher,the contents of protein were 218.7% and 315.4% higher,the contents of ash were 142.3% and 188.9% higher respectively,while the change of lactose was not evident.Compared with the primparous goat,the contents of dry matter,protein,lactose and ash in the multiparous were higher and the contents of protein and ash of multiparous goats in the colostrum were 30.61%and 20.93%higher respectively.No significant difference in the nutrient content of milk between primiparous and multiparous goats was found.
