Abstract:The evolution of the Chinese banking system,China's entry into the World Trade Organization,and the ongoing stock-equity reform in state-owned commercial banks have exerted great impacts on labor relations in Chinese banks.By intensively interviewing bank employees of different levels in three cases banks,the paper studies the evolution and current status of labor relations in state-owned commercial banks,and puts forward some policy suggestions from the perspectives of the government,the banking regulatory commission,and banks themselves.
