A Study on the Current Situation of Poverty-Stricken College Students' Psychological Pressure

Abstract:Objective:Survey of the poor students to understand their mental health.To find out factors easy to cause the psychological barrier in addition to economic factors,and actively explore effective educational response.Methods In this study,we use the simple random sampling method to select 300 poor students and 300 general students in grades 1-4 of the Weifang Medical College.Analysis of different genders,grades,characters,students,poor students in mental health by Symptoms self-assessment rating scale and Self scale.And then find the factors other than economic factors could easily cause a psychological barrier,in order to be targeted for psychological counseling.Results:The factor scores of poor students and the general health was not statistically significant,each factors in the poor students of different genders,students to have no significant,interpersonal sensitivity factor points of poor students in lower grades are higher than the higher grade of poor students.The poor students' factor scores of obsession,depression,and phobic are higher than the outgoing poor students'.Conclusion:There was no significant difference in the overall level of mental health between the poor students and poor students.The low-grade poor students are more sensitive than the higher grades in interpersonal relationships.Introverted students are more susceptible to a vari ety of psychological problems.
