Abstract:With the rapid development of the society and gradual advancing of globalization,high-level thinking skills have been penetrated into the field of education.Since 1980s,some developed countries,like the United States,Britain,and even some developing countries take high-level thinking abilities as one of the goals in higher education.The paper analyzes how to cultivate the students of vocational colleges with English high-level thinking skills by means of preliminary exploration for high-level thinking skills.
