Abstract:This paper deals with the boundary value problems of nonlinear partial differential inclusions, driven by a negative Laplacian, and with the multivalued term which contains the gradient. It is proved the existence of solutions for the inclusions with the convex and nonconvex valued perturbations. The existence of extremal solutions and a strong relaxation theorem are also obtained.

Abstract:In this paper, we exhibit a unified treatment of the mixed initial boundary value problem for second order (in time) parabolic linear differential equations in Banach spaces, whose boundary conditions are of a dynamical nature. Abstract:In this paper we use topological degree to study the solvability for a first-order impulsive integral boundary value problem on time scales. We first construct a linear operator, and then obtain the existence of nontrivial solutions under some conditions concerning the spectral radius of this linear operator. Our method improves and generalizes some results in the literature.

Abstract:In this paper, the periodic solutions for nonlinear differential inclusion governed by convex subdifferential and different perturbations are studied. It is firstly proved that the differential inclusion has unique periodic solution, if the perturbation function is a single-valued function. Then, by Schauder's fixed point theorem and Kakutani's fixed point theorem, we prove that the differential inclusion has at least a periodic solution, when the perturbation function is an upper semicontinuous (or lower semicontinuous) multifunction. Moreover, the existence of the extremal solution for the differential inclusion is also studied. Finally, based on one-sided Lipschitz (OSL) assumption, we prove the related relaxation theorem.

Abstract:In this paper, we prove that there exists a unique, bounded continuous weak solution to the Dirichlet boundary value problem for a general class of second-order elliptic operators with singular coefficients, which does not necessarily have the maximum principle. Our method is probabilistic. The time reversal of symmetric Markov processes and the theory of Dirichlet forms play a crucial role in our approach.

Abstract:In this paper we investigate an evolution problem (SDQHVI) which constitutes of the second order differential inclusion driven by a quasi-variational–hemivariational inequality (QHVI) with perturbation operator in Banach spaces. Unlike the existing literature on differential inclusions, on the one hand, the second order differential operator is not assumed to be compact; on the other hand, the solvability of the inequality is proved under non-coercive condition. More precisely, first, it is shown that the solution set of the QHVI with perturbation operator is nonempty, bounded, closed and convex under the KKM theorem and the Minty formulation. Then, an associated multivalued map with the solution set of the QHVI with perturbation operator is introduced, and we prove that it is upper semicontinuous and measurable. Finally, by utilizing Kakutani–Fan–Glicksberg fixed point theorem, a weak topology technique and properties of strong continuous cosine operators, we prove the existence of mild solutions for SDQHVI.

Abstract:We study initial-boundary value problems for linear evolution equations of arbitrary spatial order, subject to arbitrary linear boundary conditions and posed on a rectangular 1-space, 1-time domain. We give a new characterisation of the boundary conditions that specify well-posed problems using Fokas' transform method. We also give a sufficient condition guaranteeing that the solution can be represented using a series. The relevant condition, the analyticity at infinity of certain meromorphic functions within particular sectors, is significantly more concrete and easier to test than the previous criterion, based on the existence of admissible functions.

Abstract:This paper is devoted to the study of the global stability of classical solutions to an initial and boundary value problem (IBVP) of a nonlinear PDE system, converted from a model of reinforced random walks, subject to time-dependent boundary conditions. It is shown that under certain integrability conditions on the boundary data, classical solutions to the IBVP exist globally in time and the differences between the solutions and their corresponding ansatz, determined by the initial and boundary conditions, converge to zero, as time goes to infinity. Though the final states of the boundary functions are required to match, the boundary values do not necessarily equal to each other at any finite time. In addition, there is no smallness restriction on the magnitude of the initial perturbations. Furthermore, numerical simulations are performed to investigate the long-time dynamics of the IBVP when the final states of the boundary functions do not match or the boundary functions are periodic in time. Abstract:We introduce a class of inclusion problems with the Dirichlet boundary involving nonlinear elliptic differential operators and multivalued convection terms in the generalized Orlicz–Sobolev spaces. Some sufficient conditions are provided to ensure that sub and supersolutions exist. We established existence theorems and estimated norm of solutions to the inclusion problems via the method of sub-supersolution. Some examples of applications for the above inclusion problems are presented.

Abstract:Many scholars have lately explored fractional-order boundary value issues with a variety of conditions, including classical, nonlocal, multipoint, periodic/anti-periodic, fractional-order, and integral boundary conditions. In this manuscript, the existence and uniqueness of solutions to sequential fractional differential inclusions via a novel set of nonlocal boundary conditions were investigated. The existence results were presented under a new class of nonlocal boundary conditions, Carathéodory functions, and Lipschitz mappings. Further, fixed-point techniques have been applied to study the existence of results under convex and non-convex multi-valued mappings. Ultimately, to support our findings, we analyzed an illustrative example.

Abstract:In this paper we study an inverse boundary value problem for the biharmonic operator with first order perturbation. Our geometric setting is that of a bounded simply connected domain in the Euclidean space of dimension three or higher. Assuming that the inaccessible portion of the boundary is flat, and we have knowledge of the Dirichlet-to-Neumann map on the complement, we prove logarithmic type stability estimates for both the first and the zeroth order perturbation of the biharmonic operator.
