Physiological Responses of Vallisneria spirolis under Different Nutritional Status

Abstract:The anatomical structure of root,content of nitrogen and phosphrous,and the activities of peroxidase(POD),superoxide dismutase(SOD) and catalase(CAT) of Vallisneria spirolis in oligotropher,mesotropher,eutropher and hypertrophic solutions were investigated with static experiments.The results showed that structure of root tissues became disorder and appeared void with increase of the N and P concentration;The content of N,P were increased gradually with the N and P concentration increased;activity of POD,SOD and CAT of Vallisneria spirolis were enhanced gradually with increasing the N and P concentration.The POD and CAT activity increased at the earth desiccation stage,then decreased with dehydration.SOD activity of Vallisneria spirolis decreased with stress time.
