Abstract:Eco-regionalization provides a scientific basis for eco-system management and sustainable utilization of natural resources.Qinling-Dabashan mountainous region has a strategic role in ecological protection of China.In view of the problems of water pollution,soil-water loss and geological disaster etc.in Qinling-Dabashan mountainous region,the landform feature,vegetation state,climate condition and human activities are taken as the indexes of eco-regionalization,and the index system for eco-regionalization is established by principal component analysis method.By using GIS spatial analysis technology and spatial overlay technology,the region is divided into three first-level zones,five second-level zones and eleven third-level zones.Based on the eco-regionalization results,the characteristics of each eco-region are analyzed and the management suggestions aiming at the ecological problems of each eco-region are put forward.
