Study on Aspen Open Solver Interfaces

Abstract:Focuses on the development of Aspen Open Solver interfaces which enables Aspentech simulations to run other algorithms,four different algorithms,including both the gradient-based and non-gradient-based methods based on the provided codes of the interfaces in Visual C++ environment were imbeded as alternative solvers for AspenPlus.Performance is demonstrated by exeperiments in AspenPlus with discussions on algorithm efficiency.This interface can efficiently combine Aspen simulation with other algorithms.
