Abstract:Object To study the relationship of serum CG with the severity of liver fibrosis and inflammation. Methods The concentrations of serum CG in 48 patients with chronic hepatitis B were measured by radioimmnnoassay ,liver biopsies were performed in all of the patients at the same time. Results The level of serum CG is increased steadily with the progression of hepatic inflammation,and the highest levels were in Grade 3 to 4 .Serum CG was positive correlated with Grade of inflammation (r=0.534, P<0.01) .The was not a significant correlation( r=0.329, P>0.005) between fibrosis and serum CG content. Conclusion The levels of serum CG is in consent with the degree of hepatic inflammation and the determination of the mark may be valuable for diagnosis hepatic inflammation.
