Abstract:Abstract The energy consumption of office buildings is analysed, and the influential factors to be considered in architectural design that affect the light and heat environment of office buildings are summarised. The original building model was established by Ecotect, and variable methods were adopted to simulate the influence of different influencing factors on the light and thermal environment, and to quantitatively evaluate the importance of different factors on energy consumption of buildings. This analysis provides an important basis for optimised energy saving design, and finally puts forward the optimal design strategy for energy saving, so as to build harmonious light and heat architectural environment.

Abstract:In recent years, the conflict between human activities and the natural environment has caused the deterioration of the natural environment and human settlements, forcing people to re-examine the relationship between man and nature and architecture and the natural environment. With the concept of sustainable development put forward, architects began to think about how to solve the impact of building on energy and environment from the root. The emergence of ecological building is based on this background, and traditional buildings ignore its ecological impact on the surrounding environment and internal micro environment, resulting in the fact that large numbers of existing green buildings are non-ecological. In view of this situation, this paper first from the ecological point of view expounds the dilemma of human survival due to the excessive destruction of the natural environment, takes architecture as the research scope, takes the ecological characteristics of green buildings as the starting point, and first analyses the impact of green buildings on the urban ecological environment from the perspective of urban design, combined with examples; the paper puts forward different ecological design strategies from the aspects of the preliminary design planning of green building, the design of each part of the building, the design of the internal environment of the building, and the ecological operation in the later stage of the building; sums up the ecological evaluation standards of green building; and finally prospects the development trend of ecological green building in the future.

Abstract:This article takes the case of a practical green building project as example, and addressed the integrated passive architectural design method from two perspectives. First, the author indicates major passive climatic design strategies and steps to realize them from the pre-design phase. Then specific methods of integrated green design towards architecture are multi-faceted analyzed from the levels such as urban planning, architecture design and detail design. Based on the above discussion, the article also summarized several problems during the implement of this method in real building and construction process.

Abstract:On account of the actual performance of green building in China is not systematically researched, this paper follows the results of recent POE surveys within green and conventional office buildings in two climate zones of China. Occupants completed a questionnaire related to environmental satisfaction, meanwhile, a long-term objective measurement was proceeding to characterize the immediate environment experienced by the occupants. This study analyzes the subjective and objective measurements of indoor environment quality (IEQ) from four parts: thermal environment, indoor air quality, visual and acoustic environment. The result indicates that green buildings possess significantly higher satisfaction level than conventional buildings, and the actual performance of green buildings basically achieve the design goal of IEQ. The indoor operative temperature of buildings in both climate zones is compared to find the difference of indoor temperature in the interim period and influence of occupants' behavioral habit. At last, two typical thermal comfort model are used to assess the occupants feeling in different climate zones in China.

Indoor environmental quality and energy use evaluation of a three-star green office building in China with field study

Abstract:In order to get more comprehensive operation performance on indoor environment quality (IEQ) and energy consumption, a long-time measurement and a field occupants’ satisfaction survey on IEQ performance of the first three-star-operation-certified green office building in Ningbo city of China have been conducted, and environmental energy efficiency (EEE) also has been analyzed. Moreover, IEQ and energy consumption of the green case office building are compared with other green office example buildings of the same climate zone in other literatures. The results show that the actual indoor thermal environment of the green case office building isn’t quite achieving the design goals with the Chinese standard of thermal comfort level II (GB 50736). Although indoor air quality of CO 2 concentration and visual environment are consistent with the design goals, the indoor relative humidity doesn’t reach the design goal in most of the year. The questionnaire survey results illustrate that the green case building has a high occupants’ satisfaction on IEQ. The comparison results show that there is no obvious difference in indoor temperature and visual environment between the green case building and the green office example buildings in other studies. The results of occupant’s satisfaction and CO 2 concentration of the green case building are better than in other studies. However, the indoor relative humidity of the green case building in every season is much higher than in other researches. Energy use intensity (EUI) of the green case building is about 56.5 kWh/m 2 ·a, which is much lower than the constraint value of the Chinese standard. The actual performance of the green case building is also evaluated by the indicator of EEE. The results of this article can provide useful reference for green building operational performance promotion and feedback for design phase optimization.

Abstract:A rural eco-office building in Yangtze River basin is researched.The influence of day-lighting design method on indoor light-ing effects is simulated and analyzed with ECOTECT.Another four-season field measurement is also studied,verifying the importance of day-lighting design on indoor environment comfort and energy conservation.Simulation and test also show that top lighting and high-side-window lighting could obviously enlarge the illuminance in deeper side of the room and thus improve the day-lighting uniformity.So it's possible to replace artificial lighting with day-lighting and it comes to curt down lighting energy consumption.It also demonstrates that reliable shading control method determines the practical energy-saving effect.

Abstract:The rapid development of the urbanization in China is based on the high pollutions, high consumptions and low efficiencies, so this development model has resulted in the waste of resources and environmental pollutions, and it has been not suitable for the modern sustainable development. Through the research on the planning of the ecological city and green building designs, based on the theory of eco city planning and green building designs, the strategy of eco city planning and the system of green building designs were summarized systematically. In this paper, it was applied to the green building design and the city planning of the eco city A in China; the overall energy saving, transportations, services, energy consumptions were defined; the whole ecosystem engineering was implemented. It has certain referential significances to the planning and green building design of similar ecological cities in China, and it will help our country to design and accelerate the construction of the urbanization.
Field investigation of operation performance of green office buildings in China

Abstract:In order to understand the actual energy consumption and indoor environment quality of green buildings during the operation process, selects a total of 31 green office buildings located in different climate zones and cities to compare their actual energy consumption and indoor environment quality (IEQ), as well as the ordinary office buildings in corresponding climate zones. Performs field investigation and long-term test of some typical indoor environment parameters, together with user subjective questionnaire survey. The study indicates that the energy consumption of green office buildings in different climate zones is lower than the local average energy consumption level, and close to the target value of energy consumption limit in the Standard for energy consumption of buildings. However, there are also some green offices with higher energy consumption. Generally speaking, the relationships of energy consumption values and the certification levels of green office buildings are not clear. In terms of the IEQ satisfaction, green office building users are more satisfied than conventional building users, with significantly difference for thermal environment and IAQ. On this basis, analyses the factors affecting the level of green office buildings' energy consumption and IEQ to provide reference for further enhancing the performance of China's green buildings in design and operation stages.
