Abstract:The increase in table tennis ball size and the decrease in table tennis ball speed and rotation speed in recent years have brought new challenges to the body strength of table tennis players and put new tests on the physical fitness and stability of the hitting action of the players. Improving the body strength can accelerate the rotation speed of the ball, improve the body quality and stability, and improve the accuracy of the ball. Basic skills training is a new method of modern sports training. After scientists studied it, they played a positive role in table tennis. The purpose of the paper is to discuss the impact of table tennis basic skills training, provide more space for the development of physical fitness training, provide the best training tools, and provide ways to improve the impact of hitting. The purpose of this document is to use the sports capture system to collect data from the structural characteristics of table tennis players, analyze the impact of various structural characteristics of the ball, and analyze the impact of various factors affecting table tennis players. In the process of a table tennis player's frontal downward spin stroke, the structure types of the player's frontal downward spin stroke were divided into two types: fast type and slow type according to the different lengths of the three stages of the player's stroke action. The experimental results proved that the optimized model applied to the correlation analysis between the structural characteristics of the stroke action and the stroke effect was stronger, and the accuracy was improved by nearly 5%, achieving the hypothesized goal.

Abstract:Objective. To construct the graph theory model and grey correlation model of table tennis mixed doubles technology and tactics so as to provide a new research method for the analysis of table tennis mixed doubles technology and tactics. The method of graphic theory and video observation is used to study the top tactical indicators of the game, and the method of graphic theory and video observation is used to analyze the tactical data of men and women, which has a certain contribution to the world level of table tennis. The grey correlation analysis can be better applied to the technical and tactical analysis of table tennis mixed doubles. The analysis of the contribution rate of men and women in eight rounds shows that there is little difference in the net average score between male and female athletes, and female athletes are slightly higher than male athletes. The net average score of the serving round is much higher than that of the receiving round, which shows that the serving round has certain advantages for the server, and the winner is often better able to grasp the opportunity of the serving round and get higher scores. Male athletes should strengthen physical training and adapt to a higher level of confrontation.

Abstract:To further improve the system of table tennis technique and tactics analysis, this study developed a new method strength difference evaluation method using videotape observation and mathematical statistics among others. This study also established evaluation criteria for elite men's and women's singles game through 57 men's and 50 women's matches. Strength difference evaluation method can be used to quantitatively analyse the competitive ability of players on both sides in each phase. With the advantage of a simple, quick, measurable, and easy comparison, this method is beneficial for on-the-spot guidance. This study demonstrated the method using the match between Ma Long and Boll Timo in the 2012 World Cup. Results indicated that using strength difference evaluation method could directly reflect the strength difference of two athletes in detail and reveal the objective laws of table tennis match from another angle, which may help improve the scientific training level of elite table tennis players.

Abstract:ABSTRACT Introduction: The traditional method of synchronous training between the waist and abdomen to improve the strengthening of tennis strokes has been the main form of teaching in Chinese universities, but this method has not yet achieved its most expressive results in these years of teaching. Objective: Analyze the differences between traditional strength training for tennis hitting, and provide techniques for its improvement. Methods: A comparative analysis of improved hitting strength training and traditional hitting strength training was conducted, the relevant indicators of students before and after the experiment were collected, and a data analysis program was used for comparison and methodological analysis. Results: The students’ speed and performance were significantly improved. The mean speed of the experimental group increased from 152.66 km/h to 168 km/h; the mean speed of the control group increased from 153.12 km/h to 159.23 km/h; the score of the experimental group relative to the others increased from 42.66 to 72.96. Conclusion: Both methods of strength training can improve the skills of students practicing tennis. The main difference was found in the speed of the improvement frequency. Therefore, we noticed corresponding differences between the groups and the students’ abilities during the experiment, evidencing expressive short-term results. Abstract:This paper has designed and developed a platform for testing table tennis ball speed, which are used in the tests of 5 top Chinese female table tennis players in three of their practices. The results show that the ball speeds of LI and DING are faster than those of LIU, ZHU and CHEN. LI's ball speed over the net is the fastest in all exercises, especially in forehand loop-drive against backspin and forehand moving loop-drive. DING's ball speed over the net is the second-fastest in different practices (except for forehand loop-drive in the Two to One practice). LIU, ZHU and CHEN's ball speeds are slower, among which, the relatively slower ball speeds over the net were LIU's backhand loop-drive in the Two to One practice, ZHU's forehand loop-drive in the Two to One exercise and in the forehand loop-drive against backspin, and CHEN's forehand moving loop-drive.

Abstract:Background and Aim: With the continuous development of the project and the increasing confrontation and competitiveness of this competition, the physical fitness of the players is being given higher requirements. Therefore, the objective of this research was to compare it with the traditional training method. The combination of digital technology and traditional table tennis strength, agility, and quickness training methods are more effective. Materials and Methods: The population used in this research was 120 students at Jing Zhou City Sports School. According to the formula of Yamane, the total was 92 samples. This research introduces the training programs for table tennis players, focusing on the theories of training strength, agility, and quickness. Semi-structured interviews were conducted to determine the training plan, and the final indicators were obtained through a questionnaire survey. The training experiment lasted for 8 weeks. Results: The research results show that: (1) Compared with the conventional lower limb mobility training, the compound training method is better in sports load monitoring. (2) Compared with the conventional lower limb mobility training method, table tennis coaches and athletes pay more attention to the integration of digital technology compound training methods in improving the ability of lower limb mobility. Conclusion: The research findings were: (1) the Effect of compound training on half-meter word test performance, (2) the Effect of compound training on the performance of side slip plus linear sprint test, (3) the Effect of compound training on SJ squat jump test performance.

Abstract:In order to improve the table tennis technique analysis system,this paper built a “Strength Difference Evaluation Method”for table tennis match from another angle by with the methods of the lit-erature review,videotape observation,etc.,and established evaluation criteria for men’s and women’s singles game through 57 men’s and 50 women’s matches.This method can be used to analyze the com-petitive ability of players on both sides in each phase quantitatively.With the advantage of sample,quick, measurable and easy comparison,this method is advantageous to the on-the-spot guidance,but it isn’t suitable for the small probability matches in which the unbalance exist between the total scores and the result of the match.The results of the general application of strength difference evaluation method indica-ted that 1)the strength differences between Chinese and foreign elite male athletes was were mainly in the rally phase,and it was almost the same in the rally I phase and the rally II phase.The second biggest strength difference of the two was in the attack after receive phase,and there’s no significant difference between in the attack after serve phase.2)Tthe big strength difference between Chinese and foreign elite female athletes existed in every phase,t.The biggest difference was in the rally phase,and the difference in rally II phase was bigger than the rally I phase.The second biggest strength difference of the two was in the attack after receive phase,and the next was in the attack after serve phase.

Abstract:This study presents a comprehensive literature review on skill development in table tennis, focusing on various factors that influence expertise in the sport. The research synthesizes findings from multiple studies to understand the effectiveness of mental training programs, the relationship between cognitive functions and table tennis skills, differences between elite and sub-elite players, the impact of visual attention on performance, the effects of plyometric training on serve performance, and the comparison of practice schedules for skill learning and retention. Additionally, the paper explores the stages of tennis forehand attacking technique development, encompassing generalization, differentiation, consolidation, and automation stages, while discussing individual and environmental factors influencing skill development, highlighting the importance of early learning experiences, motivation, intelligence, and family support. Furthermore, the research delves into the history of table tennis performance evaluation methods, including video observation, expert interviews, and the four-stage index evaluation, establishing the reciprocal relationship between skill development and sports performance, emphasizing how enhanced athletic performance fosters skill mastery and vice versa. The findings underscore the significance of mental preparation, cognitive functions, technical proficiency, visual attention, and practice structuring in the pursuit of expertise in table tennis, indicating that incorporating mental training, cognitive training, specialized practice, and plyometric exercises can be beneficial for skill development and performance improvement in the sport.

Abstract:This study aims to determine the improvement of table tennis forehand drives through multiball exercises. The research method used a pre-experimental design (non-design) in the form of a one-group pretest and posttest design. The research subjects were students of senior hight school 3 Konawe Selatan who were 15 to 18 years old. The subject's body weight varies depending on the characteristics of each individual. However, in this study, body weight was only the main focus if specific aspects related to forehand driveability existed. Height range 150 to 190 cm. So, the number of samples in this study was 20 students who fit the age and height criteria. The instrument used uses a forehand drive test for 30 seconds with a target. Data analysis used description analysis and analysis prerequisite test with data normality test, data homogeneity test, and using t-test. Based on the pretest average score of 19.90 and the posttest average score of 23.35, using a percentage increase of 17.34% using multiball exercises. The data analysis results show a significant increase in the accuracy of the table tennis forehand drive through multiball training. By improving the accuracy of the forehand drive, players can direct the ball more, leading to better scores in competition and encouraging the development of more innovative and creative training approaches in the sport through multiball training, enhancing technical and tactical skills in the game.
