Abstract:Research advances of latent oxygen-scavenging plastic for food and beverage packaging were reviewed and the long term petential in this field was prospected. It was pointed out that single-layer oxygen-scavenging plastic woul be the most potential package materials, and the intending research emphasis was formula design, safety reliability, cost reducing and recycle utilization.
