Abstract:Considering the difficulties of college students' employment today, we analyzed the psychological reason in the background of informatization. From the students' psychological motivation, we presented the three contradictions that the college students were experiencing in job hunting: the contradiction between the individual and society, between the individual and family, and in the individual itself. With the advent of the digital age, the college students today are called "digital natives" who have grown up with digital technology and Internet, and it is claimed that they have developed quite different thinking styles from the previous generations. Based on the analysis of the social informatization, we argue that students should develop the psychological characteristics of initiative, activity, and independence, to achieve the changes in accessing information, processing the information, and choosing a career in coordination with the digital age, to reach the balance of personal values, family values, and social values in employment.

Abstract:As a newly rising economic power, China is considered to have a huge job market. However, many graduates in China experience substantial pressure in getting a job upon graduation, as a university degree is no longer a "golden ticket" to employment. In this study, we aim to understand the underlying factors that influences fine arts graduates' perceived employability, by incorporating the human capital theory and self-determination theory. Using an online survey, data was collected from 430 final year fine arts students from Guangxi, China. The findings showed that self-directed learning and career adaptability positively impacts perceived employability. While these relationships are found stronger when if graduates continue to receive advice and assistance from their lecturers. Altogether, these outcomes offer several implications that useful for academics and practitioners to manage employability issues more effectively.

Abstract:Employment is the foundation of people's livelihood, and youth employment is the top priority in employment. It is another graduation season for college students. After graduation, college students choose between "employment" and "continue further study". The employment of college students has always been a hot issue of social concern. In 2022, Chinese college graduates broke through the 10 million mark for the first time, setting a new record high. According to the current employment situation of college students, taking college students in Shandong, China as an example, this paper analyzes the main problems in the graduation planning and employment of college students, and puts forward countermeasures to improve the employment rate of college students from different levels. Abstract:Based on nation-wide survey data of 2009,and using the methods of descriptive statistical analysis,stochastic frontier analysis,and ordered probit analysis,this paper presents an empirical study on the efficiency of job search of college graduates.The empirical results show that acquiring job information from institutions of higher education, individual social network and the internet,targeting jobs that match the education, and increasing job-search intensity may increase the employment probability and find jobs with better pay and higher satisfaction level.

Abstract:Based on the investigation and analysis of the employment psychological status of college graduates in China, this paper puts forward some measures and suggestions to alleviate the severe employment pressure. At the same time, it also provides the theoretical basis and reference materials for related researchers. In recent years, recruiting units have paid more and more attention to the relationship between graduates and employers and the roles played by both parties. It is found that the imbalance between supply and demand in China's labor market is the main factor affecting students' participation in civil service examinations, teachers' academic qualifications and degree certificate system reform. Among them, the employment and working environment of graduates are more influential, while for employers, the biggest impact is the gap between the positions provided by enterprises and social needs.
