Abstract:Selecting the literatures on social computing in the Web of Science database as data sources,and using Ucinet and Pajek,this paper constructs an author collaboration network.Based on the social network analysis method and complex network theory,the paper analyzes the co-authorship network elaborately,and generalizes four types subnet model of author collaboration.At last,the development processes and research content of three typical subnets are analyzed deeply.

Abstract:Using bibliographic data extracted from CNKI database, social network analysis is used to generate and analyze the network of co-authors of China in the field of management. This article suggests that: the density of the network is low, which means the collaboration between authors in China is not tight; the relations between the degree centrality and research output are weak. The author who published more papers may not have more co-authors. Through the lens of betweenness centrality, several authors in key positions of network are always dominating the academic information exchange and the small groups of authors have changed from 2006 to 2015. The result of core-periphery analysis reflects that only a very small proportion of scholars are in the core of the network while most are relatively independent. The similarity of working experience, academic authority and geographical closeness are helpful to form and enhance the collaboration network.

Abstract:Based on the relevant data collected from Web of Science and with the help of data analysis softwares ( SPSS, Bibexcel, Uci-net) , we make an analysis on external characteristics and topics of social media documents. Conclusions are as follows: the change of number of relevant articles matches Price Curve perfectly;parts of relevant journals play an important role as core journals in the domain;most institutions studying in this area are universities;relevant topics include E-learning, knowledge management, user-generate content, user relationship, political participation and so on; and, relevant research methods contain social network analysis, content analysis, and sentiment analysis and so on.

Abstract:In order to study the academic impact of international co-authorship on the Chinese Library and Information Science, the related literature can be divided into the international Co-authorship Group ( IC Group) and the Non-International Co-authorship Group( Non-IC Group) . They can be compared and analyzed from the literature external features, co-author index, journal publication count and its jour-nal impact factor, and the citation analysis. We use the Ucinet6. 0 to draw the co-authorship network mapping of the countries and the high yielding authors. The results show that the international co-authorship is beneficial to the researchers’ communication and collabora-tion;it also promotes the quality and academic impact of academic papers. Furthermore, it can strengthen the academic norms, enhance research depth and promote discipline maturity. The most co-authorship countries with China are USA and Belgium. And in the co-au-thorship map, it appears that with the center of Roussea, R, his collaborators are along the surrounding radiation collaboration network. Currently, the international co-authorship of Chinese LIS is still in the developing stage, and it needs to be expanded and form a multi-country and multi-research institute international co-authorship pattern.

Abstract:Abstract This paper aims to compare the similarities and differences of Chinese and foreign research on social media. Cluster analysis, co-word analysis and social network analysis have been used to compare the research trends, content relevance and network structure of research on social media. (1) Similarities: Social media is a hot topic for scholars both in China and foreign countries; the development of social network technology leads to many new areas; social media research tends to study privacy, commerciality and service; hotspots of social media research in China and foreign countries both include social media, platform and social network. (2) Difference: Chinese research mainly focuses on big data, Wechat and Weibo, while foreign research mainly focuses on Facebook, Twitter and other kinds of social network media; Chinese research is clustered while foreign research is extensive; Chinese research pays more attention on macroscopic perspectives, such as media convergence, big data and libraries; foreign research tends to microcosmic perspectives, such as emotional analysis, crisis information dissemination, social media marketing.

Abstract:Social Network Analysis (SNA) has been introduced to mainland China since the end of last century. Now it is a hot research field and can also be applied to study other disciplines as a research method or analysis tool. It is often stated that SNA research has experienced rapid growth in mainland China these years, but few studies have been conducted to prove the statement. This paper aims at exploring the research status and development of SNA in mainland China by a critical assessment of journal articles. Through selecting papers from China Academic Journals Full-text Database (CAJFD), a literature review is conducted to get an overview framework about SNA research both as a research object and a method in mainland China by bibliometric analysis and classification scheme based approach. Finally a discussion is made from the systematical data analysis, and an interesting finding is that the iSchool community in mainland China plays a leading role in the SNA related researches. Furthermore, some implications are put forward to explore how SNA can be applied to or fit with the IS-related disciplines or topics in the future.

Abstract:【Purpose/significance】The paper studies the development characteristics, scientific research cooperation trend and research dimension of the field of international academic social networks so as to provide enlightenment for the research and development of academic social networks in China.【Method/process】The paper studies the research strength in the field of international academic social networks from the perspectives of country, discipline and author, comprehensively analyzes its scientific research cooperation situation, refines the current research direction in the field of international academic social networks, and summarizes the future development trend.【Result/conclusion】The paper reveals that the research on international academic social networks presents the characteristics of multi-national cooperation and multi-disciplinary integration around multiple rights centers. China, the United States and the United Kingdom are important countries in this field, and computer science, information science and library science are important disciplines in this field; Scientific research management evaluation, user adoption and information recommendation are the main research directions in this field. Academic evaluation and talent discovery based on academic social network interaction will be a new research hotspot.【Innovation/limitation】Based on visualization tools, the paper systematically reviews the research status of international academic social networks from different dimensions such as country, discipline, author and theme, and discusses its future development trend.

Abstract:On the basis of 8,805,762 citations from CNKI database during 2001 to 2010,a citation network is constructed and divided into 82 fields of humanities and social sciences,for characterizing the knowledge diffusion of those fields in China.Results show that economics,education,politics and management are important sources of scientific knowledge while two thirds of core nodes come from the fields of economics and management as well as finance.In addition,library and information science becomes one of the 15 core fields,and shows good academic vitality in early 21st century.3 figs.2 tabs.50 refs.

Abstract:This paper focuses on the high frequency collaboration network and the high frequency keywords co-occurrence network of Informetrics at home and abroad.Taking the papers published during 2000 and 2011 on informetrics from Web of Knowledge and CNKI,this paper uses Statistical Analysis Toolkit for Informetrics(SATI) to build the co-word matrix and Ucinet to draw the knowledge map.By analysis the network quantitatively,this paper intends to promote the communication among knowledge and the development of infometrics by revealing important figures in the collaboration network and the difference in hotsport of this field.

Abstract:Based on the bibliometrics methods,this paper analyzed 2482 papers included in WoS database in the field of LIS(Library and Information Science) in China,from many aspects as amount,authors,areas,organizations,source journals and subjects.The results show that the amount of the papers is on the upward trend and now it is in a stage of rapid development.Relevant foreign researchers such as Ronald Rousseau have established friendly cooperative relationship with Chinese scholars,but the quantity and the scope of cooperation of LIS sector in China has yet to be further enhanced,either in foreign or domestic areas.Knowledge management,information retrieval,scientometrics,digital libraries,university libraries,e-commerce and e-government have become the focus theme of LIS in China.

Abstract:Enterprise Network (EN) has increasingly gained popularity in academia. Over the past few decades, a substantial amount of EN studies have been published in China. Drawing upon a sample of 603 papers retrieved from the Chinese Social Sciences Citation Index database (CSSCI) between 1998 and 2020, this study aims to delve into the status quo, knowledge base, research focus, and evolutionary trends of EN research in China. A multifaceted bibliometric analysis was performed using CiteSpace. The findings mainly indicate that the research on EN in China has a clear development context, and the research content gradually changes from macro to micro. In addition to foreign Social Network theories, the research results of domestic scholars have become the basic knowledge in this field. The research includes these topics: the conceptualization of EN, EN as indicators of enterprise development, EN's impact on start-ups, mechanisms of EN's effect and governance of EN. The potential direction for future research has been identified as the integration between EN and other forms of networks, and the structure of EN.
