Abstract:Aim.In my opinion,the strategy proposed by L.P.Tsao et al is the best I have come across for attaining minimum-time homing guidance~([3]).Ref.3 did not implement this strategy to a satisfactory conclusion.I now present my research results on how to implement it thoroughly from beginning to end.In the full paper,I explain in detail how to design a guidance algorithm for minimum-time interception based on the impact point prediction.In this abstract,I just add some pertinent remarks to the following two topics of explanation: under topic one,I designed a new minimum-time guidance law by making the error between the estimated impact point and the flight direction converge approximately to zero,thus preserving the optimal performance in the minimum-time guidance strategy;the guidance law can be used to intercept highly maneuvering targets under the launch condition of large bore-off sight angle;under topic two,I simplified the guidance algorithm in accordance with the characteristics of interception systems to solve the problem of guidance command formulation for facilitating engineering application.The minimum-time guidance law was simulated,and the simulation results(see Tables 1 through 5 and Figs.1 through 4 in the full paper) prove preliminarily that the new guidance algorithms have the advantages of taking minimum time for interception and achieving small miss distance.
