Abstract:Against the background of economic and technological globalization,and with the consideration of FDI’s notable contributions and potential threats to China economy,this paper,on the basis of adequate literature review,builds up a theoretical model regarding to the relationship between FDI spillovers and technological marginalization under the current technological regime.It focuses on the question whether the technological regime influences FDI intra-industry spillovers and technology transfer.In conclusion,the present study indicates that technological regime does exert strong influences on the effects FDI brings to the domestic industry.Accordingly,the authors give constructive strategies for domestic industries to avoid technological marginalization by catching opportunities to upgrade up to the global industry frontier.
