Abstract:Objective To evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of domestic ropivacaine in the patients undergoing lower abdomen and lower limb operations under epidural anesthesia. Methods Fifty-six patients were randomly divided into two groups with 28 cases each. The patients in group A were given 15 ml(10 mg/ml) of domestic ropivacaine and those in group B 15 ml(10 mg/ml)of imported one. The anesthetic plane and degree of sensory block were examined every 5min before operation,at a interval of 15min throughout the operation, and every 30min after the operation till the block vanished. The degree of motor block was assessed by modified Bromage scale at the time points, except for the period of operation. Meanwhile, the values of systolic blood pressure (SBP),diastolic blood pressure (DBP),heart rate (HR),blood oxygen saturation (SpO2) levels and ECG were recorded every 10 min throughout the experiment. The hepatic and renal functions were measured before and after operation. Results There were no significant differences in the onset and maintenance of sensory and motor block, the maximum block time and block degree between the two groups. So did the changes in SBP,DBP,HR,SpO2 and hepatic and renal functions. Conclusion There was no any significant difference between domestic and imported ropivacaine in bioequivalent efficacy and side effects.Domestic ropivacaine injection is a safe and effective agent for clinical epidural anesthesia.
