Abstract:This study investigated the relationship between team level Organizational citizenship behavior(OCB) and team effectiveness(team performance and team members' satisfaction) and the mediating role of group efficacy.Survey data were collected from knowledge work teams in high-tech organizations.Results showed that OCB in group domain was positively related team performance(both internal team leader rated and upper-level team supervisor rated) and team members' satisfaction.Mediating effect of group efficacy found between the OCB in self-domain and OCB in organization domain and team performance.
