Abstract:This paper surveyed the campus planning since 2000 and discusses the problems existing in the concepts, methods and techniques in the fashionable campus construction. It proposes that since culture is the root of university campuses, a campus without culture and sprit can not have a sustainable development. It is crucial for a successful campus planning to have comprehensive consideration on the university, as well as rational and regular expressions of these thoughts.
