Abstract:In a unique manner,Foucault describes experientially the basic figure of the modern man,and considers the modern man as the product of "turning man to subject",the process of which actually demonstrates the construction of the modern man by 投河power of knowledge-power.The alteration of the modern man through the power of knowledge is so strict that it could be regarded as a kind of complete bondage.Foucault's criticism reveals the nature of western civilization that clears up the diversities of individuals and invites commonality to rule all,and still is unilateral.
