Abstract:The title compound, C14H14BrNO4, contains a tricyclic ring system including three contiguous stereocenters all of which exhibit an R configuration. The cyclo-hexa-none ring adopts a chair conformation. The central oxane ring assumes a strained envelope conformation, with five of the ring atoms being nearly coplanar with the bromo-phenyl group and with the C atom adjacent to the O atom and fused with the cyclo-hexa-none ring as the flap. In the crystal, mol-ecules are linked into a three-dimensional network by C-H⋯O inter-actions.

Abstract:The title compound, C17H13ClN2OS, crystallizes with three independent molecules (A, B and C) in the asymmetric unit which differ slightly in their conformations. In molecule A, the thiazole ring makes dihedral angles of 27.44 (14) and 66.05 (6)degrees with the phenyl and chlorobenzene rings. In molecule B, the respective angles are 29.09 (10) and 47.63 (9)degrees, while values of 25.67 (11) and 51.01 (7)degrees are observed in molecule C. In the crystal, N-H center dot center dot center dot N and N-H center dot center dot center dot O hydrogen bonds generate a three-dimensional network structure.

Abstract:The title compound, C(13)H(12)ClNO(4), is approximately planar, with a dihedral angle of 8.23 (4)° between the mean plane of the amino-methyl-ene unit and the planar part of the dioxane ring. The dioxane ring has a half-boat conformation, in which the C atom between the dioxane O atoms is -0.464 (8) Å out of the plane of the other five atoms. In the mol-ecule there is an intra-molecular N-H⋯O hydrogen bond, involving the NH H atom and the adjacent dioxane carbonyl O atom.
