Abstract:Male pelvic splanchnic nerves with great difference in individual morphology adjoin complicated with pelvic fascia and organs,have extensive application of multiple clinical subjects,such as colorectal surgery,urinary surgery and andriatrics.Over a few years,intraoperative protection of pelvic splanchnic nerves has received considerable attention.Male pelvic splanchnic nerves are composed of superior hypogastric plexus,hypogastric nerve,inferior hypogastric plexus,pelvic splanchnic nerves,pelvic plexus,vesical plexus,prostatic plexus,rectal plexus and its branches.It has been already proved that the injuries of pelvic splanchnic nerves would bring many dysfunctions of defaecation,urination and penile erection.So,the morphological characteristics of male pelvic splanchnic nerves and branches will cut down the complication and elevate the living quality after surgery.
