Abstract:Soil nutrient content is an important index to determine the amount of fertilizer. Traditional soil nutrient content is obtained by manual sampling, which greatly increases the cost of agricultural production input. In order to solve this problem, this paper studies the relationship between soil nutrients, fertilizer amount, yield and the next year's soil nutrients, and establishes an optimized BP neural network model to realize the prediction of soil nutrient content. Aiming at the problem that the traditional BP neural network model will affect the prediction accuracy due to the different weights and thresholds, the Grey Wolf algorithm with reverse learning mechanism is introduced to obtain the optimal solution of BP neural network weights and thresholds. The soil nutrient content data collected in chenjiadian village, Nongan County, Jilin Province for five consecutive years were used to test the model. The data of the first four years were used as the training set and the data of the fifth year as the test set. The prediction results of BP neural network model, Grey Wolf algorithm optimized BP neural network model and Grey Wolf algorithm optimized BP neural network model with reverse learning mechanism were compared The prediction accuracy of BP neural network model optimized by Grey Wolf algorithm with reverse learning mechanism reached 88.7%, which was better than the first two models. It can provide basis for the fertilization decision of variable rate fertilization in the next year, so as to reduce the input of labor cost.

Abstract:Based on the artificial neural network, this paper establishes the grain yield prediction model of Henan Province based on BP neural network. Through literature review and summary, this paper analyzes many factors that affect grain output, selects five main influencing factor indicators as the input layer, and then uses MATLAB software to network train the model. The prediction results show that the maximum prediction error rate is less than 2%, which indicates that the BP network model has a high prediction accuracy and stability, and can provide a new way for the prediction of grain output, in order to improve the prediction accuracy of grain output in Henan Province, and provide a theoretical basis for relevant departments to formulate reasonable policies and take corresponding measures.

Abstract:As an advanced stage of modern facility agriculture development, plant factory is an efficient agricultural production system that realizes optimal plant growth by regulating plant growth environment.It mainly complies the automatic control of environmental factors such as temperature, humidity, illuminance and CO 2 concentration during plant growth.With the application of neural network in nonlinear and strong coupling control systems, this paper establishes a plant growth environment control system based on LabVIEW.Depend on this platform, we study and establish an environmental state model based on BP neural network, and achieve precise plant growth environment control.The experimental result proves that the system runs stably and reliably and meets the design requirements.

Abstract:The roots of Salvia miltiorrhiza Bunge. are commonly used in the treatment of cardiovascular diseases, and tanshinones and salvianolic acids are its main active ingredients. However, the composition and content of active ingredients of S. miltiorrhiza planted in different regions of the soil environment are also quite different, which adds new difficulties to the large-scale and standardization of artificial cultivation. Therefore, in this study, we measured the active ingredients in the roots of S. miltiorrhiza and the contents of rhizosphere soil elements from 25 production areas in eight provinces in China, and used the data to develop a prediction model based on BP (back propagation) neural network. The results showed that the active ingredients had different degrees of correlation with soil macronutrients and trace elements, the prediction model had the best performance (MSE = 0.0203, 0.0164; R 2 = 0.93, 0.94). The artificial neural network model was shown to be a method that can be used to screen the suitable cultivation sites and proper fertilization. It can also be used to optimize the fertilizer application at specific sites. It also suggested that soil testing formula fertilization should be carried out for medicinal plants like S. miltiorrhiza , which is grown in multiple origins, rather than promoting the use of “special fertilizer” on a large scale. Therefore, the model is helpful for efficient, rational, and scientific guidance of fertilization management in the cultivation of S. miltiorrhiza .

Abstract:By applying PSO(particle swarm optimization)algorithm to train BP(back propagation)neural network,this article puts forward a PSO-BP model of Phyllostachys edulis' thermal conductivity and regards the process of neural network learning as that of iterative optimization for particle swarm,with the purpose of optimizing neural network weights and thresholds.The research results show that the PSO-BP model of Phyllostachys edulis' thermal conductivity is superior to the standard BP network model in several aspects,such as generalization performance,fitting precision,training,error validation,etc.,which provides a new method for the application of intelligent information processing technology in bamboo material analyses.

Abstract:Accurate quantification of root structure is essential for understanding plant ecological system. Nevertheless, the lack of in-situ root characterization methods has limited further research of the relevant field. Heat pulse (HP) technique has emerged as a promising, cost-effective in situ monitoring approach. The existing HP technique relies on the analytical solution of heat transfer model with the assumption that the medium under test is homogeneous. Thus, its performance is compromised in dealing with heterogeneous formations. The objective of this study is to establish a novel in-situ HP method to characterize root parameters based on a deep learning technique. With the fully connected neural networks (FCNN), the number of root fragments was firstly estimated by solving a classification problem, and then the size and location of each fragment were estimated by solving regression problems. All FCNNs were firstly pre-trained using synthetic dataset generated by the numerical heat transfer model. Although FCNNs showed promising accuracy on the synthetic testing dataset, they failed to provide satisfactory results on real-world experimental data due to the model error and observation noise, i.e., the deviations between the numerical model and actual situation. To this end, FCNNs were fine-tuned with some experimental data through transfer learning for performance improvement. Under controlled indoor experiment in a sandy soil, the proposed method provided satisfactory results for the estimation of mot fragment number and diameters with 83.3% accuracy and RMSE of 1.87 x 10(-4) m, respectively. The position estimation had relatively larger error, i.e., RMSE 2.41 x 10(-3) m. This study is the first step in translating heat pulse signals to root parameters, which indicates the potential of combining HP technique and deep learning in studying root system.

Abstract:Replacing Least Squares Method by Real coding based Accelerating Genetic Algorithm (RAGA), the parameters of time response function in the GM (1, 1) Model are optimized. Combined with BP Artificial Neural Networks Model, the Equa ldimension Gray Filling BP Neural Networks Model Based on RAGA is established. By this model, predicted the groundwater depth of Chuangye farm in Sanjiang Plain. The structural of BP Neural Networks is 3 : 12 : 3. The relative error is only 2.33%. Comparing with the traditional GM (1, 1) Model or BP Neural Networks Model, the precision is highly increased. The result shows that the groundwater deep will descend 0.3m in average annually in the area from 2007 to 2012.

Abstract:In view of the neural network problem, a field test and data simulation study of the root pit support system is proposed. First, in some difficult cases, the BP algorithm is usually due to the low level of training, thus changing the tuition and fees. Second, the BP algorithm can mix heavy objects with special effects, but the gradient process will generate local minima, so the minimum error cannot be guaranteed. The experimental response and simulation data of the BP neural network foundation pit support system is analyzed, and all experimental data are recorded. Finally, from an empirical point of view, the results brought by the field test of the central support system are determined and ultimately, promote the development of human life. The genetics-based estimation algorithm reproduces the neural network, the estimation time is 10 s, the prediction error root floats between −0.05–0.05 mm, the maximum correlation near error is 0.36%, and the approximate IA value is higher than 0.9.

Abstract:BP neural network (BPNN) is widely used due to its good generalization and robustness, but the model has the defect that it cannot automatically optimize the input variables. In response to this problem, this study uses the grey relational analysis method to rank the importance of input variables, obtains the key variables and the best BPNN model structure through multiple training and learning for the BPNN models, and proposes a variable optimization selection algorithm combining grey relational analysis and BP neural network. The predicted values from the metabolic GM (1, 1) model for key variables was used as input to the best BPNN model for prediction modeling, and a grey BP neural network model prediction model (GR-BPNN) was proposed. The long short-term memory neural network (LSTM), convolutional neural network (CNN), traditional BP neural network (BP), GM (1, N) model, and stepwise regression (SR) are also implemented as benchmark models to prove the superiority and applicability of the new model. Finally, the GR-BPNN forecasting model was applied to the grain yield forecast of the whole province and subregions for Henan Province. The forecasting results found that the growth rate of grain production in Henan Province slowed down and the center of gravity for grain production shifted northwards.

Abstract:The problem of heavy metal pollution in soil has become a global environmental problem, and it is very important to predict and manage the heavy metals in the environmental soil in a timely manner. The changes in heavy metal content in soil have characteristics such as nonlinearity and large delay, making it difficult to predict heavy metals in soil using traditional methods. Traditional prediction methods are complex and cumbersome, which can lead to longer treatment time and easy secondary pollution. This article analyzed the Back Propagation neural network (BPNN) in artificial neural networks (ANN) and applied it to the prediction of heavy metals in environmental soils. BPNN has good nonlinear function approximation ability, so it can be well applied to complex problems such as soil heavy metal prediction. The methods of treating soil heavy metals include physical repair method, chemical repair method, microbial repair method, plant repair method, plant microbial combined repair method and so on. The use of BPNN can predict heavy metals in environmental soils through adaptive dynamic learning. However, the training time of the BPNN is relatively long and the convergence speed is relatively slow. Therefore, additional momentum terms were added to adjust the weights and thresholds of the network to improve the BPNN. In the experiment, the prediction performance of the improved BPNN was compared before and after the improvement. This article took 50 monitoring data of heavy metals in the same soil in a certain region in 2021 as sample data and predicted the content of heavy metals in the soil using improved and improved BPNN. Due to time constraints, this article only conducted experimental analysis on heavy metals such as lead and cadmium. In the first experiment, when the soil sample data was 50, the prediction accuracy of the BPNN for cadmium before and after improvement was 75.95% and 89.56%, respectively. In the second experiment, when the soil sample data was 50, the prediction accuracy of the BPNN for cadmium before and after improvement was 77.99% and 89.85%, respectively. The improved BPNN has good prediction accuracy and can effectively predict the status of heavy metals in soil. The analysis in this article can provide scientific basis for the comprehensive prevention and control of heavy metals in regional soil, and also provide reference for the development of pollution-free agriculture and ensuring food safety.

Abstract:With the vigorous development of the national economy, the pace and scale of urban construction have been unfolded at an unprecedented speed. A large number of construction projects have made the urban engineering geological exploration activities reach a considerable scale in depth and breadth. The survey results of these projects are very valuable information resources, which not only played an important role in urban planning and construction at that time, but also had high reuse value. Based on BP neural network theory, this paper uses engineering geological database as the research and development platform. Based on the theory of BP neural network and the engineering geological database as the research and development platform, this paper establishes the prediction of geotechnical parameters based on the analysis of the characteristics of geotechnical materials and the distribution of geotechnical sediments and geotechnical parameters. Based on the survey data and specific engineering information, the prediction model of the project was established, and the distribution of the stratum and the relevant geotechnical parameters were predicted. Based on the study of geotechnical properties and BP neural network, a new parameter prediction model is established. Taking the engineering geological database as the platform, using the programming language such as MATLAB, the preliminary research and construction of this prediction system were carried out. The results show that the generalization ability of the prediction model meets the requirements.

Abstract:Ginseng is an important medicinal plant widely used in traditional Chinese medicine. Traditional methods for evaluating the visual quality of ginseng have limitations. This study presents a new method for grading ginseng's appearance quality using an improved DenseNet121 model. We enhance the network's capability to recognize various channel features by integrating a CA (Coordinate Attention) mechanism. We also use grouped convolution instead of standard convolution in dense layers to lower the number of model parameters and improve efficiency. Additionally, we substitute the ReLU (Rectified Linear Unit) activation function with the ELU (Exponential Linear Unit) activation function, which reduces the problem of neuron death related to ReLU and increases the number of active neurons. We compared several network models, including DenseNet121, ResNet50, ResNet101, GoogleNet, and InceptionV3, to evaluate their performance against our method. Results showed that the improved DenseNet121 model reached an accuracy of 95.5% on the test set, demonstrating high reliability. This finding provides valuable support for the field of ginseng grading.

Abstract:Plant extracts have been shown to be effective agricultural strategies for improving soil fertility and quality, and promoting plant growth in soil degradation remediation. The application of plant extracts improves the material cycle of soil microecology, such as the decomposition of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium, while increasing plant resistance. However, there is currently no experiment to demonstrate whether plant extracts have a promoting effect on the growth of ginseng and the mechanism of action. Pot experiments were carried out to investigate the effects of extracts, namely Rubia cordifolia (RC), Schisandra chinensis (SC), and Euphorbia humifusa (EH) on soil properties, enzyme activities, and plant physiological characteristics were evaluated. Results showed that compared with CK, plant extract-related treatments increased soil Organic carbon (OC), Available nitrogen (AN), Available phosphorus (AP) contents, and Soil urease activity. (S-UE), Soil sucrase activity (Soil sucrase), Soil acid phosphatase activity. (S-ACP). Meanwhile, plant extract-related treatments significantly increased plant physiological properties and TP (Total protein) content, and decreased the content of MDA (malondialdehyde) by 15.70% -36.59% and PRO (proline) by 30.13% -148.44%. Furthermore, plant extract-related treatments also significantly promote plant growth and reduce plant incidence, the fresh weight of ginseng increased by 27.80% -52.08%, ginseng root activity increased by 45.13% -90.07%, and ginseng incidence rate decreased by 20.00% -46.67%. Through correlation analysis between fresh weight of ginseng and root parameters and soil index, fresh weight is significantly positively correlated with root diameter, fiber root number, root activity, total protein (TP), catalytic activity (CAT) and superoxide dismutase activity (SOD), H, soil urea activity (S-UE), soil sucrose activity (S-SC), soil acid phosphate activity (S-ACP), and soil laccase activity (SL); The fresh weight was significantly negatively correlated with incidence rate, disease severity index, and malondialdehyde content (MDA). In summary, plant extract-related treatments improve soil quality and promote ginseng growth, further enhancing soil health and plant disease resistance. These findings provide new insights into ginseng cultivation and soil health management and highlight a new approach that can be applied to a wider range of agricultural practices and environmental sustainability.

Optimal NPK Fertilizer Combination Increases Panax ginseng Yield and Quality and Affects Diversity and Structure of Rhizosphere Fungal Communities

Abstract:Soil microorganisms affect crop rhizospheres via the transformation and transport of nutrients, which has important influences on soil fertility, carbon sequestration, and plant yield and health in agroecosystems. There are few reports on the effects of fertilizer application on the growth of Panax ginseng (C. A. Mey.) or the structure of its rhizosphere microbial communities. In this study, an orthogonal experimental design was used to explore the effects of nine different combinations of nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), and potassium (K) fertilizers with different amounts and proportions on ginseng growth and accumulation of ginsenosides and the structure of rhizosphere soil fungal communities. Soil without fertilization was the control. With the combined application of NPK, ginseng growth and development increased. The fertilization scheme N 3 P 1 K 3 , with N fertilizer at 50 g·m −2 , P fertilizer at 15 g·m −2 , and K fertilizer at 60 g·m −2 , had the most comprehensive benefit and significantly increased ginseng rhizome biomass and ginsenoside contents (Rg1, Re, Rf, Rg2, Rb1, Ro, Rc, Rb2, Rb3, and Rd). Amplicon sequencing showed that NPK application increased the diversity of fungal communities in ginseng rhizospheres, whereas richness was bidirectionally regulated by proportions and amounts of NPK. Ascomycota was the dominant fungal phylum in ginseng rhizosphere soil, and relative abundances decreased with combined NPK application. Combined NPK application increased the relative abundance of potential beneficial fungi, such as Mortierella , but decreased that of potentially pathogenic fungi, such as Fusarium . Correlation analysis showed that potential beneficial fungi were significantly positively correlated with ginseng rhizome yield and ginsenoside contents, whereas the opposite relation was observed with potential pathogenic fungi. Thus, in addition to directly increasing crop growth, precise NPK application can also increase crop adaptability to the environment by shaping specific microbial communities. The results of this study suggest that the combined effects of biotic and abiotic processes on agricultural production determine crop yield and quality.

Abstract:Bioorganic fertilizers can alleviate (a) biotic stresses and sustainably increase crop yields. The effect of bioorganic fertilizers on the rhizosphere bacterial community of Panax notoginseng and soil metabolism remains unknown. Here, we tracked the changes in the soil physicochemical properties, bacterial microbiota responses, and soil metabolic functions after the addition of a bioorganic fertilizer in a P. notoginseng field. The application of a bioorganic fertilizer reduced the soil acidification, improved the organic matter, and increased the contents of the total/available soil nutrients. Soil amendment with a bioorganic fertilizer significantly affected the structure of the rhizosphere bacterial community, leading to the enrichment of specific bacterial consortia such as Rhodanobacter, Arthrobacter, Sphingomonas, Devosia, Pseudolabrys, Luteimonas, Lysobacter, Nitrosospira, and Nakamurella. Previously, many of these genera have been associated with nutrient cycling, plant productivity, and disease suppression. Metabolome analysis further highlighted that the bioorganic fertilizer treatment significantly reduced phenolic acids and flavonoids and enhanced organic acids, saccharides and alcohols, and amino acids. This result indicates a high survival of bacterial microbiota in the rhizosphere and an availability of nutrients for P. notoginseng growth. This work showed that the application of bioorganic fertilizers significantly improves soil health status, alters soil metabolic functions, and stimulates a specific subset of rhizosphere microbiota for nutrient cycling and disease protection in P. notoginseng.

Abstract:Soil is the material basis of ginseng survival, and revealing the correlation between soil and ginsenoside has far-reaching significance for the sustainable development of ginseng industry. In this study, the content of ginsenosides in 3-year-old ginseng roots, the physicochemical properties of rhizosphere soil and the microbial community composition were studied. The results showed that the contents of total saponins in different months were significantly different. The richness and diversity of soil microbial community decreased with the extension of planting time. The activities of complexed iron, organic matter and protease in soil had significant effects on α-diversity of soil microbial community. Functional gene analysis showed that carbon sequestration, protein translation, nitrogen metabolism, transcription factors and chlorophyll metabolism were the main functions of soil bacterial community. The results of correlation analysis and redundancy analysis showed that pH, available potassium, organic matter, complexed iron, Firmicutes and Acidobacteria were the key factors affecting ginsenoside accumulation. The changes of soil physical and chemical properties affect the abundance of soil microorganism, and the accumulation of ginsenoside in ginseng is affected by soil microorganism. A co-regulatory network of Physicochemical Properties-Microbe-Ginsenoside was established. To provide theoretical support for the cultivation of ginseng.

Abstract:Artificial Neural Network(ANN)is one of fast developing information processing techniques in artificial intelligence. It is main approach to realize the automatization of yield and labor by making use of ANN advantages. In this paper, the BP neural network model and arithmetic is introduced and the application in appearance evaluation, prediction and modeling, classification identification of agricultural product is summarized. The prospect to develop in future is also discussed.
