Abstract:The Mobile Internet is an integrated product of the traditional internet and mobile communications, and represents one of the most rapidly growing IT fields for the current and a long period of time.However, data show that the global mobile internet is still in its infancy, there exist many problems to be solved and clarified.This paper first outlines the basic concept of the mobile internet, including its definition, features, and architecture.Then, based on the current architecture, we discussed in detail the research status, problems, and solutions of its various components, including mobile terminals, access network, applications and services, as well as security and privacy.Finally, future research and development trends of cloud computing were discussed.

Abstract:The ongoing rapid expansion of the Word Wide Web (WWW) greatly increases the information of effective transmission from heterogeneous individuals to various systems. Extensive research for information diffusion is introduced by a broad range of communities including social and computer scientists, physicists, and interdisciplinary researchers. Despite substantial theoretical and empirical studies, unification and comparison of different theories and approaches are lacking, which impedes further advances. In this article, we review recent developments in information diffusion and discuss the major challenges. We compare and evaluate available models and algorithms to respectively investigate their physical roles and optimization designs. Potential impacts and future directions are discussed. We emphasize that information diffusion has great scientific depth and combines diverse research fields which makes it interesting for physicists as well as interdisciplinary researchers.

Abstract:It is always difficult to precisely predict and control the information spreading in online social networks.This paper summarized the recent research progress of this problem from the perspective of complex network theory.In particular,the followings were emphasized:empirical analysis on online social networks,information spreading dynamics,and link prediction algorithms.The respective problems were systematically studied and compared,and advantages and disadvantages of each,as well as their applicable areas.Finally,several typical evaluation metrics are summarized.This survey could shed some lights in understanding the theory of information spreading on social networks,providing scientific evidences to its various applications.

Abstract:With the rapid development of information technology and life sciences, complex networks have rapidly become an interdisciplinary new hot research field over the past one decade. It is well known that the 21st century is the century of complex systems and complex networks. And the intensive study of complex networks has direct relationship with the daily life and the development of many important sub-sciences. How to improve the transmission efficiency and increase the degree of safety, credibility and stability for the large-scale complex networks? How to prevent the malice attack (e. g. computer virus and epidemics) and decrease the random error for the large-scale complex networks? The full and final solution for the above challenging problems depends on the development of the theory and technology of complex networks. This paper aims to briefly review the main research advances in complex networks and their typical applications in software engineering over the last decade, including modeling, synchronization, control, and networked software. The authors attempt to advance the crossing research between complex networks and software engineering.

Abstract:Internet has become as a social infrastructure.The current Internet architecture based on TCP/IP is faced with many challenges.This fact makes the clean-slate design of future Internet architecture be a hot research topic.This paper analyzes the essential problems that are inherent in the current Internet architecture,including scalability,mobility,security and controllability,and comprehensively introduces the existing research works on the future Internet architecture such as the scalability-oriented architecture,the mobility-oriented architecture etc.Considering experiment-based validation is an important means for the research of future Internet,this paper further presents the development of programmable virtual routers and the corresponding testbeds.Finally,open issues on the future Internet architecture design are discussed.

Abstract:Some research results of the structural characteristics of complex networks are summarized and the future application of structural property research in Internet load balancing is prospected.The evolution of the Internet structures of complex networks is summarized.AS-level self-government domain networks usually have only one or some exports,and long-range connectivity decides the shortest path routing from each group to the Internet,which means that the heaviest load is on the largest range.The problem to be resolved of long-range connectivity load balancing mechanism modeling about the Internet local world is presented,which explores the research of range and long-range connectivity load balancing in networks and makes an analysis of the drawbacks of the problem.An algorithm of multi-path traffic load balancing of networks with local world property and its application are studied.

Abstract:Several typical technologies about the future network were introduced.First, the background of each technology were introduced.Then, the current research progress and main results of each technology were expounded from eight aspects: network control and orchestration, programmable network, deterministic network, network computing and storage integration, network with artificial intelligence, network with blockchain, intelligent security network, space network.Finally the development trends and challenges of each technology were analyzed.It was expected that by 2030, the future network will support trillion-level, human-machine, all-time-space, safe, and intelligent connections and services.It is hoped that it can provide references and help for future network research.

Abstract:Software is networked,which is a fundamentally change brought by Internet.Carried by Internet, software as global resources provides plenty of information services to the masses for every kind of applications. Software will be changed in many parts such as computation model,application pattern,products style and delivery model.For example,we need not purchase the total software but just pay the rent for the usage over the Internet in the future just like telephone service in our homes and offices.Networked software becomes the core for connecting communication,data and computational resources.However,networked software systems are also complex systems,and thus software development and software quality are troubled with software complexity. Software engineering is a systematic,disciplined,quantifiable approach to the development,operation,and maintenance of software.Recent research achievements in complex networks introduce new mathematical foundations and software engineering methods for software complex systems.Based on the discussion of software complexity,the research efforts on complex networks of software systems are summarized,including topology properties,occurrence mechanism,evolution rule,complexity metrics and evaluation.A conception is proposed in the present paper that software should be considered in the context of network,in other words,software grows in networks and network is a good method for characterizing software.We hope this conception will help deepen our understanding of the essential of software complexity.

Abstract:As an important part of the study of communication networks, network topology clearly reflects many structural features of communication networks from the physical level and is a major research hotspot in this field. Simulation techniques are becoming more and more widely used in the study of communication networks as computer technology advances and becomes more convenient and intuitive. This paper collates the current research results on the topology of communication networks and the effectiveness of the applications of simulation technology, reviews the current status of research in related fields at home and abroad, and summarises the application of simulation technology in topology research to provide some reference for subsequent researchers in related fields.

Abstract:Current Internet is now facing multiple challenges because of the continuously extending scale and the ever-increasing demands.Especially,information(content) sharing applications such as WWW and P2P have brought tremendous pressure to the Internet and severely affected user experiences,while the ISPs(Internet Server Providers) could do nothing about it.How to make changes on network architectures,protocols and service models to cope with these challenges will be the major trend in future Internet research.Starting from a brief review of the history of Web and statistics of Internet applications,two types of research approaches,namely evolutionary and revolutionary approaches,were presented respectively.Duplicate transmission of same contents consumes large part of bandwidth,thus saving bandwidth and improving the efficiency of content distribution should be the optimization objectives of future Internet research.An on-going project called "asymmetric network architecture for ubiquitous information sharing" was also introduced.This work shows the authors’ vision towards future Internet,that is,the Internet should be able to support information sharing services in a more intelligent and efficient way without bringing heavy traffic.

Abstract:Complex networks have, in recent years, brought many innovative impacts to large-scale systems. However, great challenges also come forth due to distinct complex situations and imperative requirements in human life nowadays. This paper attempts to present an overview of recent progress of synchronization of complex dynamical networks and its applications. We focus on robustness of synchronization, controllability and observability of complex networks and synchronization of multiplex networks. Then, we review several applications of synchronization in complex networks, especially in neuroscience and power grids. The present limitations are summarized and future trends are explored and tentatively highlighted.
