Abstract:With the development of manufacturing technology,The cutting database is playing an increasingly important role in advanced machining.However,the types of the architecture,software platform and optimization algorithm in cutting database system are numerous and it's difficult to select.For the above situation,this article described four architectures of cutting database system,and at the same time it summarized its characteristics and application trends.It also analyzed the advantages and disadvantages of typical software of development platforms and database management systems and its commonly used combination.Then this paper summarized the applicable conditions of three commonly used algorithms in cutting database.Ultimately,this article prospected the development and trends of general cutting database system for its existing problems.
