Abstract:This paper constructed a new method of similarity measure between Vague sets.Using the method of comparison and Vague theory,presented a new similarity measure formula of Vague sets,which included not only the necessary parameters scaling the similarity of two Vague sets,but also the following problem: for the distance,the one between two ends of Vague values,the score distance or the uncertainty distance,the bigger the size of distance,the larger impact on similarity measure was and the smaller degree of similarity was.The new similarity measure formula was more visual and practical than the fore ones.Finally,by proved theorem and compared to the interrelated literatures,it shows that the method in this paper has the better measure effect.

Abstract:As a new mathematical method for processing uncertain information, some similarity measure methods for vague sets have been put forward by many scholars. But because of the lack of the necessary factors and the low-strictness of the properties, there always exists deficiencies for the existing methods. On the basis of the existing similarity measure methods, stricter properties and a new measure method are presented. And the 4 kinds of necessary factors are included in the new measure method formula. It is found form the proof based on the properties and comparative analysis that the method in this paper is able to overcome the deficiencies of the existing method.

Abstract:The integrated necessary conditions of a similarity measure based on Vague sets are given.Based on this,the quantitative analysis and proof are completed about the existing fault of the similarity measure.A new similarity measure of Vague sets,which reflects the correlations of the support degree,the against degree,the unknown degree and the core function,is proposed.By proving the new similarity measure and comparing with the existing similarity measure which is counterintuitive through analyzing some examples,the new similarity measure can conform to the integrated necessary conditions of a similarity measure,and accord with intuitive sense of people.An application method and an application example of the new Vague sets'similarity measure in the intelligent decision-making are presented.

Abstract:Aiming at the limitation of existing similarity measure method based on Vague soft sets, the similarity measure formula between Vague soft sets is modified and a novel similarity measure between Vague soft sets in con-sideration of the difference of interval center of Vague values is introduced,the axiomatic proof is given too.The ex-perimental results of comprehensive evaluation of the network public opinion show that this method is reasonable, effective and practical,which has a good application prospect and effect in the study of internet public opinion.

Abstract:Similarity measures are important tools for studying and applying vague sets and vague values.Firstly,the concept of vague sets and vague values are introduced,and also the similarity degree is defined.Then some existing similarity measures are reviewed and compared.It is pointed out that those methods are not always suitable for some cases,and the reasons are analyzed as well.Afterwards,it is shown that three factors influencing vague sets and vague values should be taken into account while calculating the similarity degree.Based on them,the similarity measures between vague values and between weighted elements are improved.Finally,the similarity measures between vague sets are modified.As considering all factors influencing the similarity degree between vague sets and between elements,the proposed methods can avoid inapplicability of the existing methods in some cases.

Abstract:Through aiming at unreasonable measure results of existing similarity measure methods , the inclusion re-lationship between elements and inclusion relationship between complements were combined with each other by u -sing the inclusion grade relationship between the vague set and its complement set .A new method of similarity measures between vague sets based on inclusion grade is proposed .The new method takes into account the influence of unknown degrees on similarity measure , and sets up reasonable coefficient .By comparison with the existing simi-larity measures, the new method overcomes the defects of the existing similarity measure methods and can distin-guish data reasonably and effectively .The measure result of the new method is consistent with intuitive sense of peo-ple.A new way of thinking was provided by researching the method of similarity measures between vague sets based on inclusion grade.

Abstract:By analysing existing Vague sets similarity measures,we point out the inadequacies of these measure means. According to the containing and intersecting relation between Kleene-Dienes implication operator and its negation operator,we present a kind of Vague sets similarity measure method which is based on Kleene-Dienes implication operator,and prove it satisfying the condition of similarity measure.With comparison of existing similarity measures,the new similarity measure is able to overcome the defects of existing similarity measure methods,can effectively distinguish data,and has certain predominance. These provide a new thinking way for studying the similarity measures of Vague sets.

Abstract:It is difficult to describe the complex influence of uncertain information on similarity measurement of Vague value(set)which is neglected by the most existing measurements. Therefore, based on the existing main methods, a new similarity measure method of Vague value(set)is proposed and its properties are systematically analyzed considering the influence of uncertain information on similarity measurement of Vague value(set)in the quadratic voting model. This method has better similarity discrimination ability than the existing ones. The new similarity measure of Vague value(set) is applied to multi-criteria fuzzy decision-making. The better scheme is obtained by comparing the similarity under the criterion of the candidate scheme with ideal scheme’s. The validity and feasibility of this method are verified by an example.

But in many cases we need themeasuring method with distance characteristics, so we propose a series of distance measures for vague sets (values)and elements of vague sets. And we prove all characteristics of vague sets proposed by us, and then an example is al-so presented to illustrate the application of the proposed distance measures in handling behavior analysis problems.The method proposed in the example can provide a useful way in handling the behavior analysis problems. Abstract:Soft set theory offers a general mathematical tool for dealing with uncertain, fuzzy, not clearly defined objects. A vague soft set is a combination of a vague set and a soft set. In this paper, we introduce axiomatic definitions of entropy, similarity measure and distance measure for vague soft sets, and some formulas have also been put forward to calculate them. Furthermore, 13 theorems are proposed showing how the entropy, the similarity measure and the distance measure for vague soft sets can be deduced from each other. Some formulas have also been put forward to calculate the entropy, the similarity measure and the distance measure of vague soft sets by these relations.

Abstract:In this paper we propose a new similarity measures in order to overcome some problems in [1],and proposethe idea for similarity direction of vague sets by which to describe which one is more accurate between vague sets. Atsame time we propose a method to determine the similarity direction. Based on above,we present a new bidirectionalapproximate reasoning approach on vague set that fully uses the message accuracy of vague set. So this improves theaccruacy and applicability of approximate reasoning. This provides a useful tool for approximate reasoning in intelli-gence system.
