Intensive Use Evaluation of the Old Campus’ Land Resources in Higher Learning Institution

Abstract:In order to compensate for the absence in the vacant or inefficient use , and for the intensive use of land resources in old campus of some colleges and universities , and to bring forward the connotation and evaluation method about the intensive land use in old campus , so as to improve the effective use and the optimum management of higher education resources in China , methods of analytic hierarchy process (AHP), Delphi method and investi-gation approach were employed .Based on the evaluation of the intensity of land development on the current situa-tion, the intensive use evaluation of land resources in old campus should focus on the school physical construction and intangible asset utilization after the major part transferred .The indexes system included the intensity of land de-velopment, the utilization of physical building , the comprehensive influence etc ., 16 indexes in all.To promote the land resources ’ intensive utilization degree , it was advised to make a practical , well-defined use purpose , to employ its potential , to promote its social influence , and to reorganize the old campus resources .
