Efficacy of Mosapride Citrate Disperasant in Treatment of Peptic Ulcer

Abstract:Objective To observe the effect of mosapride citrate dispersant in the treatment of peptic ulcer.Methods 120 patients with peptic ulcer diagnosed by endoscopy were randomly divided into two groups,the treatment group and the control group,these two groups were given pantoprazole sodium enteric-coated capsules 40 mg qd,Hydrotalcid Tablets 1.0 tid.On this basis the treatment group plus mosapride citrate dispersant 10 mg tid,and the control group were given mosapride tablets 10 mg tid.The course of treatment is 14 days.The symptoms of peptic ulcer in 3,7,14 days after treatment were observed,and all patients were reevaluated by endoscopy in 14 days after treatment.Results The relief rates of beching 3 days later after treatment in treatment group and control group were 53.7% and 28.2%(P<0.05),the relief rates of refux were 48.6% and 20.6%(P<0.05),the relief of abdominal distention were 47.5% and 23.7%,P<0.05),there had significant difference.The relife of upper abdominal pain were 40% and 34%(P>0.05),and no significant difference.The symptoms of upper abdominal pain,beching,reflux,abdominal distention of the two groups had no significant difference after 7 and 14 days medication(P>0.05),and the endoscopy ulcer healing rate of these two groups were 93.3% and 91.7%,there was no significant difference.Conclusion Mosapride citrate dispersant and Mosapride citrate tablet combined with pantoprazole sodium enteric-coated capsules and hydropride tablet can both effectively improve the symptoms of peptic ulcer and cure the ulcer,but mosapride citrate dispersant can relieve the symptoms earlier than mosapride citrate tablet.
