Abstract:Objective:To study and establish the high performance liquid chromatography(HPLC) fingerprint of Shuyan spray,so as to provide a reliable method for the scientific evaluation and effective control of its quality . Methods:With reversed phase high performance liquid chromatography ( RP-HPLC ) , the C18 column was used. The gradient elution lasted for 80 ninutes with methanol-acetonitrile -0.05 mol/L water solution of potassium dihydrogen phosphate as the mobile phase. The flow rate was 1.0 mL/min and the detection wavelength was 280 nm. The fingerprint of Shuyan spray was established and the chromatographic peak was assigned by the control medicine. Results:There were 11 common peaks in the fingerprints and the similar-ity of the fingerprints of 10 batches of Shuyan Spray was larger than 90%. According to the identification of the chromatographic peaks by the contrast medicinal materials,four kinds of medicinal materials were de-tected from the fingerprints,including radix Scutellariae,radix sophorae subprostratae,calyx seu fructus physalis and radix rehmanniae. Conclusion:The method has good precision,repeatability and stability. HPLC fingerprint technology can effectively control the quality of the Shuyan spray. It provides a scientific basis for quality control of Chinese patent medicine containing radix Scutellariae,radix sophorae subprostratae,etc.
