Difference of Surface Marker of Regulatory T Cell in Gastrointestinal Cancer Micro-Environment and Other Sites

Abstract:Objective To investigate the difference of surface marker of regulatory T(Treg)cell in gastrointestinal cancer region and periphery.Methods 4-color staining flow cytometry was used to detect the Treg cells in gastrointesti- nal cancer patients' peripheral blood,ascites,tumor tissue,draining lymph node,normal tissue and healthy controls' peripheral blood.Results In cancer patients' peripheral blood,Treg cells were significantly higher than healthy con- trois(P0.05).Also high levels of Treg cell were found in ascites,tumor tissue and draining lymph node.In periph- ery,CD25~(high) was correlated well with forkhead/winged helix transcription factor(Foxp3),while in cancer region, CD25~+ was correlated well with Foxp3.Conclusions Treg cells in gastrointestinal cancer region and periphery show different surface marker.This result contributes the further analysis for Treg with membrane marker.
