Abstract:Multicultural education is a worldwide trend in the development of national education. From the perspective of culture diversities,this paper mainly focuses on the study of characteristics of the demand for higher education by cross-border minorities peoples,and summarizes the characteristics of how Yunnan cross-border minority students choose higher education schools,their future plans,and attitudes toward human communication,culture,and national courses,and so on,in comparison with non-cross-border minorities. It discuss the issues of ethinc education from the theory of multicultural education.
