Effects of Rumex K-1 Meal and Cellulase on Growing Performance of Growing Pigs and Digestibility of Nutrients

Abstract:0,3% and 6% Rumex K-1 meal and corn with "6% Rumex K-1 meal plus 0.15% cellulase were added into a corn-soybean meal ration for four treatment groups respectively;and the pigs were fed on the ration containing Cr_2O_3(0.25%) prior to last ten days of experiment.The result showed that solid substance digestibility and Ca availability of the ration reduced linearly(P<(0.05)) along with the increase of Rumex K-1 meal in ration;ADG of growing pigs reduced linearly(P<0.05) in first two weeks,but it was not affected by the content of meal in ration(P<0.05) in last two weeks.When adding 0.15 % cellulase into 6% Rumex K-1 meal,the digestibility of solids,organisms,total energy and acid detergent fiber could be improved(P<0.05),and ADG of growing pigs could be improved in first two weeks(P<0.05),while ADG and feed intake could not be improved in last two weeks(P>0.10).
