Abstract:Five genera from China of the leafhopper tribe Typhlocybini are treated. Linnavuoriana Dlabola, 1958 and Shamala Dworakowska, 1980 and seven known species, Edwardsiana corylicola Vilbaste, 1968, E. praedestina Dlabola, 1967, E. singularis Anufriev, 1975, Hiratettix distanti Dworakowska, 1982, H. malaisei Dworakowska, 1982, L. antiqua Dworakowska, 1982, and L. malicola Zachvatkin, 1949 are newly recorded from China. Two new species, .Shamala annulata and Paracyba biprocessa spp. nov., are described and illustrated. Keys to Chinese species of each genus are also provided.

Abstract:A redescription of the erythroneurine leafhopper genus Hepneriana Dworakowska and a key to Chinese species of the genus are provided. Eleven new species, Hepneriana applanata, H. bicruris, H. concava, H. euryaedeaga, H. longa, H. menglunensis, H. paragamma, H. prostrata, H. robusta, H. taibaoensis and H. undulata spp. nov. are described and H. joannae (Dworakowska) is newly recorded from China.

One new species, C. sichuanensis sp. nov., from Sichuan of China, is described and illustrated; a key to all species, based on the male genitalia, is given. Abstract:Two new genera of the leafhopper tribe Erythroneurini, Hamata gen. nov. and Levigata gen. nov., are established based on type species from Yunnan, China: Hamata corallifbrmis sp. nov. and Levigata arborea sp. nov., respectively. Two additional new species, Gladkara bifida sp. nov. from Yunnan and Thapaia tibetensis sp. nov. from Tibet, are described and illustrated and amended descriptions of their respective genera are provided. A new synonymy is suggested: Elbelus tripunctatus Malunood, 1967 = Elbelus melianus Kuoh, 1992, syn. nov. Eleven species of nine crytivoneurine genera arc newly recorded from China: Arboridia (Arboridia) kakogawana (Matsumura, 1932),A. Abstract:Zyginellini is a smaller tribe in Typhlocybinae. Species in this tribe feed on trees and shrubs, and some species harm economic crops. Examples include as Zyginella mali (Yang) and Zyginella minuta (Yang) which damage apple trees. Members in this tribe usually have bright coloration, distinct patches and spots. Most lack ocelli. Compared with other tribes of Typhlocybinae, the main diagnostic characters of Zyginellini are: vannal veins in hindwing separate apically, only one transverse vein visible and submarginal vein extended directly to vein Cu1, forming one open cell. This tribe is related to Typhlocybini. The Zyginellini leafhopper genus Yangida was erected by Dworakowska (1994) with Yangida basnetti Dworakowska from Sikkim, as its type species. There have been no further reports on this genus. In this paper, we describe the second species, Yangida fasciata sp. nov. from China. The type specimens of the new species are deposited in the collections of the Entomological Museum, Northwest A & F University, Yangling, China.

Abstract:Nine new species of Aguriahana Distant are described and illustrated: A. digitata, A. singularis, A. simplex, A. longicorna, A. tripoda, A. recticornis, A. furcata, A. dilatata and A. recurva spp. nov. Three previously described species, A. uncinata (Vilbaste), A. paivana (Distant) and A. distanti Dworakowska are newly recorded from China. A checklist and key to the 34 species known from China are provided.

Abstract:Two new genera of tribe Erythroneurini from China, Saccata gen. nov. and Variolosa gen. nov. are described and illustrated based on type species Saccata insolita sp. nov. and Variolosa meni sp. nov. respectively. Genus Thailus Mahmood with new species Thailus versicolor sp. nov. is reported from China for the first time and another new species, T. rectilinea sp. nov. from Thailand is also described.
