Abstract:How to control anaerobic digestion is a big problem to large and medium sized biogas plants.To get effective monitoring and controlling(M&C),automatic and modern intelligent controlling methods,from early simple control and adaptive control to novel approaches such as fuzzy control,expert control,neural network control,have been applied to anaerobic system.And the research for automatic control system has achieved rapid development since 1980s,bringing stronger stability and higher treatment efficiency to the whole processes.The author reviewed the researching status of the automatic M&C for anaerobic digestion,so that to give some help to the online monitoring and control for large and medium sized biogas project.
