Characteristics,Problems and Solutions to China’s Teacher Education Policies’Changes in Recent Thirty Years

Abstract:As an important step in strengthening teacher team construction,teacher education contributes to education development.In recent thirty years,China puts emphasis on the reform and development of teacher education.Many relative policies are made and put into practice so that teacher education in China has developed quickly with great achievements and dynamic pro-cedural characteristics,namely,the transfer from quality-scale type to quantity-benefit type, from priority to efficiency to fairness equilibrium,from that of single and close to that of open and pluralism,from separated stages to overall coherence.In this way,a virtuous teacher educa-tion system of pre-service and post-service training is built.Nevertheless,along with the prosper-ous development,teacher education policies in the turning stage of both old and new modes have some problems due to diversity of subjects of value,the complexity of choices of education poli-cies,relatively limited education resources as well as the alienation of ideal value and practical value of education policies.Thus,problems should be looked into with history as a mirror.Prac-tical roads will be discussed to improve the present teacher education policies in China.
