Abstract:It is very important to monitor the fetal heart rate in the clinical management of pregnancies antenatally. This paper pre-sents an implementation schemes which use AT89C51 MCU and self-correlation analysis from Doppler signals. The schemes using dual-microcontroller can achieve real-time processing data. The one micro-controller process data acquisition and another process self-correlation analysis. The schemes using dual-microcontroller can replace DSP chip for cutting the cost. Very promising clinical experimental results indicates that the monitor is of higher precision ,cheap price,easy operation and fast measurement The monitor is especially suited for middle and little hospital and home.
