Simultaneous Determination of Baicalein and Wogonin in Chinese Medicinal Plant Scutellaria Baicalensis Using HPLC-DAD Coupled、with Alternating Trilinear Decomposition

Abstract:This paper proposed a novel method for simultaneous determination of baicalein and wogonin in Chinese medicinal plant Scutellaria baicalensis by using high performance liquid chromatography with photodiode-array detection(HPLC-DAD) coupled with second-order calibration method based on the alternating trilinear decomposition algorithm,especially in the presence of matrix interferences.When the core consistency diagnostic suggested N was set to 3,the average recoveries of baicalein and wogonin were 104.6±4.3% and 100.7±7.4%,respectively.
