Abstract:The formation mechanism of the psychological suzhi is the most important issue in the study of psychological suzhi and its cultivation,and there has not been any systematic exploration of it in the psychological academia.This paper aims at exploring the formation mechanism of psychological suzhi by bringing in the theoretical framework of Cultural-Historic Activity Theory.This theoretical framework helps us to theorize the psychological suzhi(a) as a psychological quality in essential that originates in actual process of human activity and is the transition from external activity into its subjective product,and(b) as a mental structure that decide the process for practical problem solving.In addition,a deepening process of participation in a community of practice is necessary to the development of psychological suzhi.Theoretical analysis of the exogenous mechanisms of the psychological suzhi may contribute to the development of the study on psychological suzhi and its cultivation in Chinese communities.
