Analyzing the Separation in Chinese Carpet Pattern

Abstract:Many traditional patterns were formed by separating natural true features, which had been selected ? refined and re-formed. In terms of form, the new and special pattern was formed by combining parts of patterns from many objects. It's the product of Chinese primitive thought; it became a potential pattern as it was handed down for thousands of years. China has a long history, in rare works of art handed down from history, we can find footprints whose formation was consistent through history. From this, we can see the process of refining basic element in forming carpet patterns.
