Study on Extraction Technology and Analgesic Effect of Tianyuan Ketong Formula

Abstract:Objective To optimize the extraction technological conditions of Tianyuan Ketong formula and to investigate its analgesic effect on mice.Methods The orthogonal design was adopted to screen the optimum technological conditions of Tianyuan Ketong formula with the dry extract amount as index,adding water amount,decocting time and extracting times as investigation factors.The hot plate pain model was used to determine the pain thresholds of mice.The data of determination were processed with the Student-Newman-Keuls test.Results The optimum processing conditions were as follows adding water with 10 times amount of medicinal material,extracting three times,1 h for each time.Different dosages of Tianyuan Ketong formula could increase the pain thresholds of mice,which showing significant difference compared with the blank control group(*P < 0.05,**P < 0.01).But The analgesic effects of high dosage were inferior to those of middle and low dosages.Conclusion This extraction technology is simple and feasible.Tianyuan Ketong formula has good analgesic effect on mice.
