Standardization of Emergency Medical Service Unit in an Armed Police Forces Hospital

Abstract:Objective To study the standardization of the emergency medical service unit in an Armed Police Forces hospital. Methods Multiple Methods were adopted,i.e.literature review,Delphi method of expert advice,training and desktop medical practice, such as exercise,medical research,emergency medical personnel transfer,material allocation,organization and command,integrated operation,training,evaluation,check and acceptance of actual combat activities,and establishment of standardized criteria.Results Standard systems of organization and command,material guarantee,training practice,and evaluation and acceptance were establised for the emergency medical service team.Conclusions The Standardization of an emergency medical service team should be based on increases of in rapid mobility capability,capacity of treating war injuries,effectiveness of organization and command,and medical evacuation capabilities.
