A Distributed Intrusion Detection System Based on Immune Mechanism

Abstract:We give a new framework which integrates multi-agent and distributed intrusion detection system(DIDS) to solve defects of normal DIDS. This paper gives detail description of the new framework. We found that the existed multi-agent intrusion detection system mostly use rule base to detect intrusion, lack intelligence detection. We combine immune mechanism and multi-agent intrusion detection system to give a new IDS which base on immune mechanism and multi-agent, the new system can improve accuracy and detection rate of attacks, at last we give the description of the system we designed.
