Abstract:The Sky-wave Over-the-Horizon Radar Target echo signals are transmitted by the ionosphere, the existence of Multi-mode propagation and phase distortion have effects on the target detection. The decontamination methods of phase distortion is studied in this paper when multi-mode propagation echoes have completely different phase distortion, using good time-frequency analysis of CMOR wavelet transformation made time-frequency analyzing of echo signals, and compared the result with classical time-frequency analysis methods, then draw the conclusion that in decontaminating this distortion instance, CMOR wavelet transformation can provide better time-frequency resolution at in all interested scales.
