Abstract:This paper gives an abstract model for elevator group control system.Based on the abstract model,this paper not only gives a simulator design solution for elevator group control system,which includes the function arrangement,inner structures,scheduling algorithm,module division and processing interface of the simulator,but also gives the implementation results of prototype of the simulator,which includes data structure,processing flow,visual user interface,trail-run result and evaluation.Finally the paper points further researching direction.

Abstract:With the quick development of modern cities, elevator is increasingly needed. So the problems on the elevator control system's analysis and design, which has become large and complex, should be seriously considered. Facing new design task, it is too difficult to use, revise and maintain old modules to speed up the design procedure. Utilizing object\|oriented method introduced by CodaYourdon, we develop the application software of elevator control system. It can be used in practical system design. On elevator group control strategies, we give an optimizing norm, which can be used to improve elevator's transport efficiency.

Abstract:In order to meet the increasing requirements on real-time and reliability of elevator group control, ARM chip is applied to construct hardware platform of elevator's main-board in this paper. Based on ARM embedded hardware platform, distributed architecture of elevator group control is designed, aiming to solve the problems caused by elevator group control's non-linearity, uncertainty and interference. And on the basis of distributed architecture, fuzzy neural network technology is used to design intelligent scoring algorithm for elevator group control. Finally, test finished on elevator model proves the rationality and practical value of the distributed architecture as well as the intelligent scoring algorithm.

Abstract:For the sake of improving elevator efficiency and quality,elevator group control method must be adopted.The core problem of elevator group control system is elevator group control algorithm.It is difficult for researcher to check performance of group control algorithm.So the design method of elevator group control system simulation platform is proposed,which is based on LonWorks.The simulation platform is put to use distributed method.We can download procedures to simulation platform to compare with kinds of performance and efficiency of group control algorithm.The result of experiment is that the simulation platform can be used to measure elevator group control algorithms.It is a economical,practical and impactful simulation platform.

Abstract:Elevator group control systems (EGCS) are the control systems that manage several elevators in order to improve the transportation performance according to the traffic condition and the service requests. The service request in modern intelligent EGCS has not limited to reducing passengers' waiting time, some other objectives such as reducing passengers' riding time and reducing the energy consumption are also taken into consideration. A combination function was made for several optimization objectives. On the base of the analysis of the functions and features of EGCS, the multi-objective optimization for EGCS was modeled based on genetic algorithm. Tests were made on the EGCS simulation test bed. The testing results were given and analyzed.

Abstract:A simulation model of elevator group control system with destination registration is built.This simulation model can describe elevator movement accurately.A multi-object control policy is proposed based on elevator group control system with destination registration.Simulation results demonstrate that,compared with the minimum average waiting time policy in the ordinary elevator system,the proposed multi-object control policy improves the elevator group performance.

Abstract:Elevator group control is a multi-objective optimization problem in an open,complicated and dynamical system.Currently,many algorithms have been applied in elevator group control,such as zoning approaches,search-based approaches,rule-based approaches and other adaptive approaches.However these methods fail of achieving the optimal performance in the average wait time.In this paper,the reinforcement learning technology is applied in the elevator group control system.The CMAC neural network is used to approx the value function of reinforcement learning and Q-learning algorithm is used to optimize the value function,thereby the optimal control policy of the elevator group control is achieved.The simulation experiment shows that the elevator group control using reinforcement learning with CMAC can reduce the average wait time efficiently in the down peak traffic.

Abstract:Aiming at the computational complexity,hardware high requirements of elevator intelligent group control scheduling algorithm,for meeting the needs of low-performance controller,the low computational complexity,easy to implement dual-mode group control scheduling algorithm was proposed.Depending on the traffic control mode decision cycle,the control mode was divided into energy consumption priority and minimum wait time control mode.Energy consumption priority mode scheduling algorithm was the target of energy saving,taking into account the elevator operating frequency balance and passengers by ladder congestion level.Minimum waiting time control mode was in order to minimize latency target,which using the equivalent time method to calculate the best call distribution elevator.The algorithm was evaluated in uplink peak,idle,random layer and down link peak traffic flow pattern.The result indicates that the algorithm can meet the demand for elevator group control and provide a solution for the low-end of elevator group control places.

Abstract:Research on the elevator group control strategy has important significances towards to improving efficiency and reducing energy consumption of elevators. In order to optimize the performance of elevator group control system (EGCS) and offer excellent service to passengers, the elevator group control scheduling method based upon known-waiting passengers and multi-strategy switch is proposed in the paper. The number of the passengers who are waiting for elevators can be obtained through detecting device, which is called passive pyroedetric infrared sensor device for body detection. The feasibility of the scheme is validated by subarea experiment. In this way, the traffic mode of the EGCS can be judged in real time. There are two scheduling algorithms based on fuzzy control theory developed in the paper. The multi-strategy switch method is used to schedule elevators when there is new call according to traffic. So the optimization allocation of scheduling algorithm is realized. The results show that the performance indices of EGCS are optimized and the efficiency of EGCS is improved.

Abstract:The design and implementation of a modern elevator group control system (EGCS) is introduced in this paper. The basic considerations of designing an EGCS are discussed, including related system parameters, evaluation criterions and traffic patterns. Least squares support vector machine algorithm is employed for traffic prediction. Using multi-support vector machine, the traffic pattern recognition is accomplished, then based on that recognition, the control strategies are generated. In the hall call assignment, the re-scheduling ability is achieved by the elevator suitability re-evaluation mechanism. A comparison with an older model demonstrates the effectiveness of the proposed EGCS.

Abstract:In buildings with many elevators, elevator group control algorithm is used to efficiently dispatch the elevators to serve each hall call generated from different floors. Recent researches for energy saving of elevator system have attracted widespread interest, most of which achieve energy saving by minimizing the estimated energy consumption. This paper propose a rule-based algorithm for elevator group control, which focuses on design of dispatching rules for energy saving based on the inner mechanism of the elevator system. As the weights and other parameters for the rules matters a lot to the performance of the algorithm, coarse-to-fine searching strategy is used for optimization. It can overcome the combinatorial explosion of feasible set and the limitation of simulation platform. The proposed algorithm is tested on a very practical simulation platform. The result is reliable, and shows the efficiency of the algorithm on energy saving.

Abstract:An energy-saving elevator group control algorithm jointly developed by Tinghua-Toshiba research team is briefly introduced, including algorithm framework, rule-based dispatching method, design of dispatching rules as well as optimization of rule weights. It is shown through simulation testing that, compared with currently used algorithm, the new algorithm can effectively save energy consumption while maintaining the performance on service time.

Abstract:With the social progress and the acceleration of the pace of life, the traditional elevator has not been able to meet people’s needs. At present, most group control elevators simply distinguish the single or double layers, and their efficiency is slightly improved compared with the traditional elevators, but the problem has not been fundamentally solved. Based on Siemens S7-1200 PLC, TIA portal and WinCC, group control elevator dispatching system is designed, using six ten-floor group control elevators as model, to analyze the model of group control elevator, implementation method of the software system and the algorithm of group control elevator dispatching system. This system not only makes up for the large computation and difficulty of the dispatching system based on neural network design; Moreover, it avoids the difficulty of modifying the rule base of dispatching system based on fuzzy control design. Through the simulation test data, it is found that the system can improve the elevator riding time, waiting time, long waiting rate and other indicators. And the conclusion can be drawn that group control elevator can reduce the energy consumption and improve the efficiency of elevator operation.

Abstract:Aiming at the difficulty to get complete information in the traditional elevator control system, this paper introduces a novel elevator group control system with destination registration, and analyzes the features and advantages of this novel system in detail. Particle swarm optimization algorithm is one kind of optimal algorithms, but it is easily trapped into local minima. In this paper, We propose an improved particle swarm optimization algorithm based on simulated annealing algorithm and apply it to the elevator group control system with destination registration. The simulation results show that the elevator group control system with destination registration can improve the elevators service quality, and the elevator system with the improved particle swarm optimization algorithm can reduce the passengers' waiting time and on-off time effectively.

Abstract:Aiming at the features of current domestic elevators,i.e.,high-energy consumption and complex to control,a control system integrating elevator control,drive and energy feedback is designed.In this system,dual PWM control and the hardware structure with 32bit ARM CPU +32 bit DSP CPU + FPGA are adopted.The high speed data exchange between two CPUs is through parallel communication;while the lift master board,calling landing workstation,and the workstation at the top of car are exchanging information through the CAN bus in serial.The test results show that the output current power factor of the energy feedback control system is approximate to 1,the disturbance of the elevator system on the power grid is minimized and the energy saving is up to 40%.

Abstract:Abstract This paper is based on the research of elevator group control system based on PLC, aiming at the phenomenon of elevator in the running process of long time elevator phenomenon, on the basis of improving the utilization of elevator, put forward the overall design structure of elevator group control system, through the communication and control between group control and single elevator, to achieve the unified coordination of elevator scheduling. Considering the riding comfort of passengers, the shortest waiting time of passengers is shortest, and the algorithm of elevator group control scheduling system is analyzed according to the time delay algorithm. At the same time, the elevator control system is analyzed in detail, using PLC to achieve the hardware circuit design, complete the elevator control signal processing, through the inverter control motor operation, to achieve the elevator uplink and downlink. In the design of elevator control software, the overload detection and the delay treatment of the switch door are set up to improve the safety of the elevator, so that the elevator can develop in the direction of intelligent.
