Abstract:Lung cancer is the most common malignancy in the world and the leading cause of cancer death. Human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2) positive non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) refers to the NSCLC caused by mutation, amplification or overexpression of the HER2 gene, resulting in its dysfunction. HER2 is the most active receptor in the HER family and can combine with other members to form dimers, which can activate multiple signaling pathways and regulate cell proliferation, differentiation, migration and apoptosis. In NSCLC, HER2 positivity is usually considered a poor prognostic marker. At present, the diagnosis and treatment of HER2-positive NSCLC are not mature. Immunohistochemistry (IHC), next generation sequencing (NGS) and other technologies are often used to detect the positive status of HER2 mutation, amplification or overexpression. In previous studies, antitumor drugs did not show ideal therapeutic effects in HER2-positive NSCLC. However, in recent years, related researches have shown that antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) and new tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs) in targeted therapy show good antitumor activity against HER2 positive NSCLC. This article summarized the progress in diagnosis and treatment of HER2-positive NSCLC, so as to provide reference for subsequent researches. .

Abstract:American society of clinical oncology(ASCO) recenfly published amounts of positive and negative clinical trial results of non-small-cell lung cancer(NSCLC),which poinedt out that the era of first-line therapy to unselected patients has gone with the wind.Maintenance therapy should also be applied to the right patients.Regarding second-line therapy,chemotherapy and targeted therapy both have individual advantages while the adjuvant therapy remained dominant in chemotherapy.Biomarkers-based targeted therapy may dramatically improve the patients' survival so the importance of biomarkers should be highlighted.

Abstract:The field of non-small cell lung cancer treatment has attracted great attention. The studies announced in 2010 ASCO Annual Meeting suggest that chemopreventive agent selenium has not been successful, the long-term benefits of neoadjuvant chemotherapy are still in doubt, and molecular targeted therapy has showed no improvement in the survival of the patients. The studies in non-small cell lung cancer treatment still have a long way to go.

Abstract:Non-small cell lung cancer is the most common pathological type of lung cancer. Along with the rising incidence in recent years, lung cancer has been the leading cause of death due to malignancies both in our country and worldwide. Due to simplistic therapeutic approach for lung cancer decades ago, those patients suffering from advanced lung cancer had short lifetime, and it was difficult to ensure their life quality. In recent years, many molecular targeted drugs, such as Gefitinib, Erlotinib and Crizotinib etc., have been successively applied in clinical use, and they bring about a substantial prolongation of survival life and improvement in life quality of those patients with advanced lung cancer. In 2014, there was a number of important reports concerning the diagnosis and treatment of non-small cell lung cancer in the annual meetings of either American Society of Clinical Oncology or European Society for Medical Oncology. On the basis of the relevant reports delivered in the conferences, it is our attempt to summarize the recent advances in regard to chemotherapy, molecular targeted therapy, measures to treat TKI therapy resistant cases, and immune therapy, followed by a comment regarding recent advances in the treatment of non-small cell lung cancer in 2014. Abstract:The development of tumor clinical researches in 2009 was reviewed in this article,which involves individual therapy and targeted therapy in lung cancer,gastric cancer,renal cancer and lymphoma,etc. In addition, many concerns were focused on the several new standards for lung cancer, breast cancer and prostate cancer therapy. The existing limits were found by re-inspecting the conventional strategies for tumor screening, detection and prevention. The results in large scale of samples explained some of the controversies in the field of breast cancer. In summary, the development of malignant tumor therapy in 2009 is worth attention.

Abstract:Lung cancer is the most common cancer and the leading cause of cancer death in the world, among which non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) accounts for about 85% of the total lung cancer. With the widespread of computed tomography (CT) and other imaging screening methods, the pathological types of lung cancer have changed from central squamous cell carcinoma to the early-stage lung adenocarcinoma, which is manifested as isolated pulmonary nodules and ground glass nodules on CT. Early diagnosis and treatment of lung cancer is of crucial clinical significance, and the continuous development and improvement of minimally invasive interventional techniques provide more options for lung cancer treatment, such as stereotactic radiation, percutaneous ablation, and bronchial intervention. This paper will make a review on the principle, advantages, disadvantages and prospects of minimally invasive interventional therapy commonly used in clinical practice.

Abstract:Lung cancer continues to pose a significant challenge as a prominent contributor to global cancer-related mortality. Despite the considerable strides made in therapeutic interventions within the past decade, a substantial population of patients diagnosed with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) still face the grim reality of an incurable condition. In the realm of optimal management strategies for individuals afflicted with locally advanced, yet amenable to surgical resection, NSCLC, a therapeutic approach encompassing chemoradiation stands as a fundamental component. Significant strides have been made in the therapeutic landscape of NSCLC during the preceding two decades, facilitating an enhanced comprehension of the underlying disease biology, and mechanisms governing tumor progression, as well as advancements in early detection modalities and multimodal therapeutic interventions. Nevertheless, the overall rates of curative interventions and survival outcomes for NSCLC continue to exhibit a discouragingly low trajectory, particularly in the context of metastatic disease. Hence, the imperative for sustained research endeavors in the realm of novel pharmaceutical agents and combinatorial therapeutic approaches remains paramount, with the overarching objective of broadening the scope of clinical advantages conferred upon a wider demographic of patients, thereby fostering tangible improvements in outcomes pertaining to NSCLC. The primary objective of this review is to provide an all-encompassing examination encompassing the clinical application and synthetic routes of specific drugs, with the explicit aim of disseminating invaluable knowledge that can inform future research and development endeavors focused on NSCLC.

Abstract:Non-small cell lung cancer is one of the most common types of malignances worldwide and the main cause of cancer-related deaths. Current treatment for NSCLC is based on surgical resection, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and targeted therapy, with poor therapeutic effectiveness. In recent years, immune checkpoint inhibitors have applied in NSCLC treatment. A large number of experimental studies have shown that immune checkpoint inhibitors are safer and more effective than traditional therapeutic modalities and have allowed for the development of better guidance in the clinical treatment of advanced NSCLC patients. In this review, we describe clinical trials using ICI immunotherapies for NSCLC treatment, the available data on clinical efficacy, and the emerging evidence regarding biomarkers.

Abstract:The leading cause of cancer deaths worldwide is attributed to non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), necessitating a continual focus on improving the diagnosis and treatment of this disease. In this review, the latest breakthroughs and emerging trends in managing NSCLC are highlighted. Major advancements in diagnostic methods, including better imaging technologies and the utilization of molecular biomarkers, are discussed. These advancements have greatly enhanced early detection and personalized treatment plans. Significant improvements in patient outcomes have been achieved by new targeted therapies and immunotherapies, providing new hope for individuals with advanced NSCLC. This review discusses the persistent challenges in accessing advanced treatments and their associated costs despite recent progress. Promising research into new therapies, such as CAR-T cell therapy and oncolytic viruses, which could further revolutionize NSCLC treatment, is also highlighted. This review aims to inform and inspire continued efforts to improve outcomes for NSCLC patients globally, by offering a comprehensive overview of the current state of NSCLC treatment and future possibilities.

Abstract:Lung cancer continues to be the leading cause of cancer-related death worldwide. In the last decade, significant advancements in the diagnosis and treatment of lung cancer, particularly NSCLC, have been achieved with the help of molecular translational research. Among the hopeful breakthroughs in therapeutic approaches, advances in targeted therapy have brought the most successful outcomes in NSCLC treatment. In targeted therapy, antagonists target the specific genes, proteins, or the microenvironment of tumors supporting cancer growth and survival. Indeed, cancer can be managed by blocking the target genes related to tumor cell progression without causing noticeable damage to normal cells. Currently, efforts have been focused on improving the targeted therapy aspects regarding the encouraging outcomes in cancer treatment and the quality of life of patients. Treatment with targeted therapy for NSCLC is changing rapidly due to the pace of scientific research. Accordingly, this updated study aimed to discuss the tumor target antigens comprehensively and targeted therapy-related agents in NSCLC. The current study also summarized the available clinical trial studies for NSCLC patients.

Abstract:Lung cancer still contributes to nearly one-quarter cancer-related deaths in the past decades, despite the rapid development of targeted therapy and immunotherapy in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). The development and availability of comprehensive genomic profiling make the classification of NSCLC more precise and personalized. Most treatment decisions of advanced-stage NSCLC have been made based on the genetic features and PD-L1 expression of patients. For the past 2 years, more than 10 therapeutic strategies have been approved as first-line treatment for certain subgroups of NSCLC. However, some major challenges remain, including drug resistance and low rate of overall survival. Therefore, we discuss and review the therapeutic strategies of NSCLC, and focus on the development of targeted therapy and immunotherapy in advanced-stage NSCLC. Based on the latest guidelines, we provide an updated summary on the standard treatment for NSCLC. At last, we discussed several potential therapies for NSCLC. The development of new drugs and combination therapies both provide promising therapeutic effects on NSCLC.

Abstract:Non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC) is the leading cause of cancer mortality worldwide.The management of NSCLC has changed dramatically in the last decade.A number of well documented clinical studies demonstrated that the epidermal growth factor receptor tyrosine kinase inhibitors(EGFR-TKIs) showed a better survival benefit comparing to the standard treatments in patients with advanced/metastatic NSCLC.EGFR-TKIs,including gefitinib and erlotinib,have been used in first-line,second-line and more other settings with obvious survival benefits in a subgroup of patients with EGFR mutations.Moreover,icotinib,a novel EGFR-TKIs developed by BetaPharma Inc.,has finished its phase III trial(ICOGEN) with encouraging efficacy and safety profile in China recently.This review will summarize the results of clinical trials of erlotinib,gefitinib or icotinib for patients with advanced NSCLC.

Abstract:There were many clinical studies on lung cancer in 2018. In particular, significant progress has been made in immunotherapy and targeted therapy. Whether in small cell lung cancer (SCLC) or non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) have shown good results. For patients with specific gene mutations, the new generation inhibitors also showed good results in clinical trials. In this review, we summarize the clinical trials in lung cancer in 2018 and describe the progress and prospects for lung cancer therapies.

Abstract:Non-small cell lung cancer ( NSCLC) is the most common histological type and accounts for approximately 80%-85%of lung cancers , which can be classified into lung adenocarcinoma , squamous cell carcinomas , and so on.With the coming era of precise treatment, NSCLC is further divided into treatable oncogenic alterations negative-and positive-NSCLC.For patients without treatable oncogenic alterations , platinum-based chemotherapy remains the cornerstone of the treatment , and antiangiogenesis therapy al-so plays an important role in the subsequent treatment .For those with treatable oncogenic alterations , in addition to standard first gener-ation EGFR-TKIs and ALK-TKIs, second and third generation targeted drugs have been investigated in first line or post -resistance treat-ment.The application of immune checkpoint inhibitors has become a new trend of lung cancer treatment .Our review summarizes recent advances in chemotherapy , antiangiogenesis therapy ,target therapy , and immunotherapyof NSCLC .

Abstract:Nowadays, lung cancer is still the deadliest oncological disease in the world. Among them, non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) accounts for 80%∼85% of all lung cancers, and its 5-year survival rate is less than 15%, making the situation critical. In the past decades, despite some clinical advances in conventional treatments, the overall survival rate of NSCLC is still not optimistic due to its unique physiological conditions and the frequent occurrence of tumor escape. In recent years, immunotherapy has become a new hot spot in lung cancer research, including antibody therapy and cell therapy, which have been developed and utilized one after another, especially immune checkpoint inhibitor (ICI). These approaches have effectively improved the overall survival rate and objective response rate of NSCLC patients by enhancing the immune capacity of the body and targeting tumor cells more effectively, which is more specific and less toxic compared with conventional chemotherapy, and providing more strategies for NSCLC treatment. In this paper, we reviewed the relevant targets, clinical progress and adverse reaction in monoclonal antibodies, antibody-drug conjugates, ICI, bispecific antibodies, T-cell receptor engineered T cell therapy (TCR-T), Chimeric antigen receptor T-cell immunotherapy (CAR-T), and also report on their combination therapy from the immune-related background to provide better NSCLC treatment and prospective.

Abstract:Lung cancer is a leading cause of cancer-related deaths globally, and traditional chemotherapy has limited efficacy in treating advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). In recent years, the prognosis for patients with NSCLC has significantly improved due to the development of new treatment modalities, including targeted therapies. Targeted therapies utilize monoclonal antibodies (mAbs), antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs), or small molecule tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs) directed against specific mutated genes such as EGFR and ALK. The development of these drugs has deepened our understanding of NSCLC and improved treatment outcomes for patients. This review aims to summarize the mechanisms and current status of targeted therapy for NSCLC, discuss strategies to overcome acquired resistance, and address current challenges in the field.

Abstract:In recent years, with the rapid development of molecular immunology and related biotechnology, immunotherapy has made breakthrough progress in tumor treatment. The main object of this paper is the current clinical treatment of different lung cancer and their advantages and disadvantages. Through the literature review method, the latest and most standard treatment methods were selected and summarized. Studies have found that chemotherapy, especially platinum-based chemotherapy, is still the most effective means for lung cancer in clinical practice, and immunotherapy mainly relies on combination with chemotherapy to play a role. However, as a new treatment method, epidemic therapy is becoming increasingly mature, and compared with traditional chemotherapy, it has greater research and development potential and broader prospects. The research and development of immunotherapy will be the focus of the therapies for lung cancer in the future. Researchers need to tailor treatment methods based on the principles of individualized treatment to optimize the design and outcomes of clinical studies.
