Abstract:Nonylphenol(NP) and nonylphenol ethoxylates(NPnEO) are estrogenic compounds.Contents of NP and NPnEO(n=1,2) were detected in water,sediment,plankton and fish,and the distribution of these compounds were studied in aquatics of Lanzhou reach of Yellow River.The results showed that the content of NP2EO was higher than NP and NP1EO in water of Lanzhou reach of Yellow River.The content of NP was higher than NP1EO and NP2EO in all the organisms,and the content of NP in the organisms was 10~3～10~5 times higher than in water.The contents of these compounds in the organisms were higher than in water.The contents of NP in zooplankton fat and fish fat were lower than in phytoplankton fat,and the content of NP in sediment was 56.6～1?849.3 times higher than NP in water.It was clear that NP and NPnEO(n=1,2) were accumulated in the aquatic organism in Lanzhou reach of Yellow River,but no biomagnify effect was observed.These compounds could be transfered from water to sediments and accumulated in the sediments.
